Is the near infrared camera a black and white camera?

Pure infrared photography can only produce black-backed images, because the color in our eyes is the result of selective reflection and absorption of visible light with different wavelengths by objects. But infrared light has no color, so not everyone can see it. However, the color in some infrared photos is due to the influence of infrared light with different wavelengths, which is considered as pseudo color by technical means.
