Brief introduction to the story of fish out of water

Di Feng (Shang Hongfan), a photojournalist who used to work in a newspaper, was fired for his indulgence and quarreling with his boss. He also hates the profession of photojournalist in his heart, and he especially dreams of becoming a private detective. After posting wildly on the Internet, he finally got an opportunity: a mysterious middle-aged woman wanted to find evidence of her husband's affair and entrusted him to follow up and take some photos. So Di Feng waited in a coffee shop with a camera according to the time and place given by the woman. However, in the next few days, Di Feng didn't take any photos, but he was surprised to find that a girl with long red hair was on the phone every day in a telephone booth opposite the coffee shop. He vaguely felt that the girl was crying on the phone. The girl attracted the interest of the flute wind, but the telephone booth was across the road and there were many cars, so I couldn't see the girl clearly.

There is a unique piano shop on the way from the telephone booth to Di Feng's house. When Di Feng passed by, he always decided to buy a piano on the spur of the moment because of the infection of the piano sound. Because Di Feng had no musical talent and no professional piano training, he soon turned from pressing the piano at will to turning a blind eye, and the piano became a decoration, even full of sundries. Di Feng's neighbors Cheng Che (Hou Jidong) and MengMeng (Yu Xiaolei) are lovers who have been in love for many years, and their passion is gone. They decided to leave for a while. Before breaking up, Cheng Che gave MengMeng a blue fish that he often dreamed of. They agreed that when they meet again in half a year, if the fish is still alive, it means their love is still there.

Di Feng used the telephoto lens of the camera to continuously take close-ups of the girl's hand-broadcast phone number. When he got home, he arranged the photos like a professional detective and found that the girl played the same number every day. He excitedly broadcast this number, and the phone number you broadcast actually came out of the microphone.

When Di Feng was full of long-haired girls and empty numbers, he received a phone call from a mysterious woman, saying that the time and place where her husband appeared had changed, and asked him to shoot elsewhere. The next day, Di Feng hesitated and then appeared in the telephone booth, but the girl with long hair didn't show up. After waiting for many days, the girl never appeared again, but Di Feng was possessed and still waited every day. On the phone, he tells his friend Mouse (played by Zheng Lizhi) that he has found something more worthy of being a detective, and he must find out the reason why girls dial empty numbers every day.

One night, a thief opened a girl's bag next to a telephone booth. As soon as the thief pulled, the contents of the bag were scattered all over the floor. After the thief escaped, Di Feng and the girl picked up things on the ground and found many piano etudes. Suddenly, she remembered that she had a piano, so she tried to ask the girl if she could teach herself the piano. Unexpectedly, the girl agreed happily. The girl sat in front of the piano and played passionately. When observing the girl, Di Feng found that her posture of playing the piano was very beautiful, and she inadvertently made an action that made the girl feel frivolous, so the girl ran away.

Di Feng felt a little guilty. In the communication with him, the girl found that Di Feng was not a bad person, and gradually told him the story that happened to her. The girl's name is Jiang. She is a child who has been with the piano since childhood. When she grew up, she was admitted to the piano major of the Conservatory of Music. However, she didn't feel how important the piano was to herself. When she was a child, because her mother learned piano, she fell in love with an artistic teacher in college. In order to win his listening, she practiced harder and prepared for international competitions. However, an unexpected car accident killed her parents, and her father's trick temporarily oppressed her optic nerve because of blood stasis.
