Ect deep vein imaging of lower limbs

ECT (emission computed tomography) of deep vein of lower extremity, also known as ECT scanning of deep vein of lower extremity, is a medical examination method used to evaluate the blood flow of deep vein of lower extremity. Lower extremity deep vein imaging is mainly used to diagnose lower extremity deep vein thrombosis (DVT).

In ECT deep vein imaging, a special radioactive tracer (such as technetium -99m) usually enters the patient through intravenous injection. The tracer will be transported to the deep venous system of lower limbs and imaged by radiography.

ECT deep vein imaging of lower limbs can provide detailed structure and blood flow of deep vein system of lower limbs, so that doctors can diagnose deep vein thrombosis of lower limbs or other related diseases. Compared with other imaging techniques, this method has higher sensitivity and specificity.

However, please note that due to different medical institutions, doctors' suggestions and patients' specific conditions, the specific implementation and feasibility of physical examination methods may be different. If ECT deep vein imaging of lower limbs is needed, it is recommended to consult a doctor or a professional medical institution for detailed guidance and arrangement.
