What are the skills of using a digital camera at home?

1, CCD or CMOS, the photosensitive element of digital camera, can't reach the degree of the color imaged by chemical pigments in traditional film and the color seen by human eyes, so it is necessary to adjust this "color shift". Adjusting the balance of light color temperature to eliminate color difference to the greatest extent is also called white balance.

2. Due to the different grades of digital cameras, the setting options of white balance are also different. But there are usually five modes: automatic, sunny, cloudy, incandescent and fluorescent. Automatic mode will not work well under any lighting conditions, so you need to choose "daylight, cloudy day, incandescent lamp, fluorescent lamp" or other lighting conditions. For example, "Daylight" is suitable for outdoor shooting on sunny days; "cloudy day" is suitable for shooting in cloudy, cloudy or dusk and dawn environments; "Incandescent lamp" is suitable for shooting under the illumination of incandescent lamp and bulb-type (3-wavelength) warm white fluorescent lamp; "Fluorescent lamp" is suitable for shooting under warm white, cold white or (3-wavelength) warm white fluorescent lamp illumination.

3. Some digital cameras can also customize the white balance by aiming the camera at a piece of white paper or cloth for adjustment and confirmation, but make sure that the white image completely fills the LCD or optical viewfinder.

4. A digital camera can take pictures just by pressing the shutter button, which is no different from a traditional film camera. However, digital cameras have auto-focus and auto-exposure functions, and its shutter button is two-level. When pressed in the first stage, it will lock the focus metering, and when pressed in the second stage, it will really shoot. Therefore, it should be noted that in the case of insufficient light when shooting, in order to ensure sufficient exposure, the camera will automatically reduce the shutter speed to match the aperture used to ensure exposure. Slight shaking at this time will affect the clarity of the photo. Therefore, when shooting in poor light, if possible, it is best to use a tripod to achieve the best stability.

When we don't have to shoot against the light for artistic photography and the conditions are limited, we can only shoot when the lens is aimed at the light source. Compared with the brightness of the background, the subject will appear darker and easy to form shadows. At this time, you can press the "backlight compensation key" in the automatic exposure mode, and when the indicator light appears in the LCD viewfinder or indicator window, you can take a relatively good photo under the existing conditions.

6. If your digital camera doesn't have the backlight compensation function, you can also turn on the manual aperture adjustment function, enlarge the aperture (for example, adjust f/2.8 to f/4) to appropriately improve the exposure value, or use the existing white shirt as a temporary reflector to reflect sunlight to the subject, and the same purpose can be achieved.
