1, plus exposure. Reduce the highlights appropriately (the head flower and the overhead highlights are a little overexposed, and reduce the highlights while increasing the exposure. ) at the same time, brighten the shadows and increase the white level. Clarity, vividness, saturation and so on are all adjusted according to your own preferences and actual photos. Mine. The adjustment values are as follows. When adjusting, adjust the appropriate value according to your own film.

2. curve. The same consideration, highlighting reduction. Press the dark tone. Because the previous exposure has brightened the whole photo a lot, it is necessary to suppress the dark tone here so that the film can get out of the layering, otherwise it will feel gloomy.

In addition, color adjustment, brightening orange, this step is very useful for brightening skin color, because our China people's skin is yellowish, and the background color is orange. Brightening orange will brighten the skin color. Dark blue is to make the background hydrangea more vivid and highlight the characters. As for other colors, your picture needs to be adjusted.

3. Separate tones. Based on the color of the picture is blue, make the following adjustments.

However, there are still some unsatisfactory details, such as: the face and bridge of the nose have dark shadows due to the weak light effect of the ground, the forearm and small hand are also tanned, which is not in harmony with the upper arm, and the skirt is a little dark.

Never mind, drag it into Photoshop to adjust it. Next, I will talk about two ways to brighten skin tone. One is brushing, just like we apply foundation. Second, the curve layer is locally brightened with an eraser.

These two methods can be used at the same time when necessary.

Brush daubing method:

1, click on the brighter position of the upper arm with the color picker. Choose the right color. Wipe away the shadow on your face. In the same way, click on a brighter position on your face.

2. Create a new blank layer. Adjust the brush to the appropriate size and transparency (I usually use 10 or less for skin smearing), and choose 0 for hardness.

3. Brush on the newly created layer, face and forearm, where the small hand wants to brighten. It's like putting on foundation, haha. Don't paint too much and too thick, it's fake, it's the same as painting powder.

Local brightening method of curve layer and eraser;

1. Create a new curve layer. No screenshots. If anyone doesn't know, I'll talk about it here. It is a symbol that is half black and half white in the line below the layer adjustment panel. Click the left button to select the curve.

2. Here comes the eraser. Adjust the eraser to a suitable size, with hardness of 0 and opacity of 100%, and then erase the background in the curve layer. In this way, the background is still dark, and the curve just highlights the characters. Of course, you can also wipe off the hair part and dark circles of the headdress, and only brighten the face, arms and skirt.

If necessary, you can also reduce the opacity of the eraser and erase the desired light and dark levels more carefully.
