Award-winning honor of red news warrior

Robert Preki said in the preface of The Storm Years: "There is no doubt that Li Zhensheng is the most famous and widely published China photographer in the field of documentary photography in the world today." The "Red Reporter" and "Let History Tell the Future" Universal Film Festival have had a wide influence in the world and become world brands.

American photography magazine named The Red News Soldier as the best photo album in the world in 2003, and ranked first. This is the first China photographer to win this award since the publication of American Photography 35 years ago. This photo album in the window of European and American bookstores is quite eye-catching, and the mainstream media also reported the life story of the photo album and its author Li Zhensheng.

For the international photography publishing industry, the results of the authoritative annual selection of the world's best photo albums by American photography are regarded as equally important as the annual selection of the most important people in the world by the editorial department of Time magazine.

The Red Reporter has been published in French, English, German, Spanish and Italian, and more than a dozen other languages are being published one after another. In order to cooperate with the publication of The Red Reporter, the film exhibition "Li Zhensheng: China Photographer in the Cultural Revolution" sponsored by the French Ministry of Culture was exhibited in the French Museum of Photography History for three months from June 27th to September 28th, 2003, which caused a great sensation. The exhibition has set two historical records in France: one is the record of the largest number of people who bought tickets to visit the film festival in the history of the Museum of Photography, and the other is the record that the French version of the album sold at the exhibition venue exceeded 1000.

On the front page of the album is a vigorous inscription: Let history tell the future-Li Zhensheng's "Cultural Revolution" photography collection, which was specially written for the album by General Zhang Aiping, former deputy prime minister and defense minister of China, at the age of 9 1. From 2003 to 20 13, the global photo exhibition "Let history tell the future" inscribed by General Zhang Aiping has been exhibited in more than 40 countries/cities in the past decade. The number of tourists in Paris, London and Barcelona alone exceeded 654.38+million, setting a historical record, and the total number of international tourists reached 2 million.

Photographer Li Zhensheng was selected as 54 "World News Photographers" by the international media from 1855, and was selected as "Top 50 Chinese who will influence the future of the world". The Oxford Photography Guide published by Oxford Encyclopedia is listed as "Li Zhensheng" alone. These international honors are the first time that a photographer from China has won this honor.
