Kurbanjan Samat, from Hotan, Xinjiang, Uygur, born in 1982, is a freelance photographer, documentary photographer and independent curator. He has held personal photography exhibitions in international photography festivals such as Beijing and Pingyao and in many cities in Xinjiang, and won the title of "Excellent Young Photographer of the Year" in China Original Ecology International Photography Exhibition in 20 14. Participated in shooting many documentaries such as Song of the Forest, Time and Light, Silk Road, New Journey, Fashion Circle, Yak and China on the Tip of the Tongue.
