It is generally understood that the so-called equipment is a machine lens tripod, a battery charger and the like. In fact, the equipment in a broad sense also includes polarizer, gradient mirror and nd-reducing mirror. These are all necessary accessories for landscape photography. It is easier to understand with a polarizer. Sunrise and sunset shooting must use a gradient mirror, preferably an anti-gradient mirror. ND mirror is needed when encountering clouds, water currents and the like. Once in Baibaha, I had a rest at noon. I walked around the nearby Woods with my camera and found some red leaves in the stream. It's a pity that I managed to take a few photos with the nd mirror on the car, which is very unsatisfactory (without the ND mirror, the speed can't be reduced, and the water in the upper right corner is overexposed, see the attached figure). From then on, no matter where I go, I dare not be lazy. I will carry my bag and arm myself without wasting any opportunities.

Serious photographers also bring flashlights. Most people think that landscape photographers don't need flash, but this is wrong. Sometimes when you take a close-up shot against the light, the effect of filling the light with a flash will be completely different.
