What technology was used to film Phantom Collection?
Stop motion shooting technology. In late 1906, Frenchman Emile Cohl used the stop-motion shooting technique in photography to start filming the first animated series "Fantasmagorie" (Fantasmagorie). The series of changing images in "Phantom" exudes a unique charm. Although the technique is too simple and crude, it is still charming. At the 2006 Annecy International Animation Film Festival in France, it was rated second among the "100 Works of the Century of Animation".
