Prediction of prediction

Forecast is a private shooting project completed by photographer Hans Malm in 20 10. In this project, the photographer presents a special staggered space-time relationship through the second exposure of black and white film.

"The earth we live in has been changing. The continents and oceans have changed alternately for thousands of years. The theme of time and space will never change. What I want to present in this group of works is a tribute to this change.

In the past two years, I took my film camera to visit different cities on different continents, such as Los Angeles, Bangkok, Budapest, Tokyo, Amsterdam, Mexico and Stockholm ... I took a black-and-white movie of one city, then took it back to the next city and recorded it again on the movie of the last city ... Each movie was engraved with two time and space.

This is a shooting project about the future, but also about the present and the past. Photography is essentially a record of time and space. "
