Category: Romantic drama John is a British photojournalist who is terminally ill. In his eyes, Hong Kong is just a gloomy cloud, and his dream has been shattered. He has nothing to say and do except lose, not because Hong Kong has returned to the embrace of China, but because of the decline of Britain. The love with Jenny is the last meaning of his life. He thinks that he is in love with a beautiful Hong Kong woman, a symbol of Hong Kong that he is attached to and familiar with, and hopes to return to England with this last romantic aftertaste belonging to Hong Kong. But unexpectedly, Jenny came from the mainland, refused his proposal, married someone else's wife and settled down as a future newcomer in Hong Kong. Jenny, whom John met on the street in Hong Kong, is a native local woman who struggled in the hardships of life. When she was young, she was madly in love with an English teenager, but she was still abandoned at first and left a scar on her left cheek forever. The story of the three men began silently on December 31, 1996, and ended abruptly on July 1, 1997 when the British flag collapsed.
