Selection of film camera

It seems that you have a certain foundation and have done some homework.

Your requirements: lightweight, rich manual functions, easy to buy, metal materials, mechanical parts ... a lot, hehe.

I've heard of many SLR models, including O, C, N and P, which are all classic models, except M … In fact, besides Japanese, German also has many choices.

Let's start with OM- 1, which was originally called M- 1. Leica didn't want to, so it added an epoch-making product, O, O.

At that time, OM- 1 claimed to be the smallest 35mm SLR in the world with excellent performance. In addition to the viewfinder can not be replaced, other performance and other manufacturers at that time. It uses a rolling mechanical shutter, the shutter range is from 1 sec to11000 sec. The battery is only used for metering. The body of OM- 1 also integrates the function of pre-lifting the reflector, which is very useful for photographers who like to put the camera on a tripod and shoot scenery with a slow shutter. In addition, OM- 1 installed an air shock absorber under the rewind button. This advanced equipment at that time made the shutter action of OM- 1 very gentle, which could minimize the impact of shutter vibration on the picture.

OM- 1 One of the secrets of being so compact is that it sinks the pentaprism into the mirror box. The viewfinder of OM- 1 is wide and bright, with a visual range of 97% and a magnification of 0.92.

OM- 1 shutter speed dial design is also very clever. At that time, mainstream SLR cameras set the shutter dial on the shoulder of the winding wrench, and this position of OM- 1 was ASA/ISO dial. People who don't know this may be surprised that OM- 1 had such a strange "shutter index" when it first came into contact with it. When using other manual SLR cameras, in order to obtain a suitable exposure value, the right hand needs to leave the body when turning the shutter dial. When using OM- 1, whether adjusting aperture, focusing or adjusting shutter, the whole process can be completed with the left hand, and the right hand can always hold the fuselage tightly without leaving the viewfinder.

Olympus OM-/KOOC-0/was introduced in/KOOC-0/973, OM-/KOOC-0/MD can be wound by motor in/KOOC-0/974, and OM-/KOOC-0/N in/KOOC-0/979. 1979om-1/om-1d discontinued, 1987 OM- 1N discontinued.

Say AE- 1:

If you want a classic, why not AE- 1P or A- 1? If you want to do it manually, why not use FTBN or old F- 1?

AE- 1 is a very successful commercial machine with built-in automatic exposure function, but its function and feel are not as good as AE-1p. Don't you need to do it manually? Why not choose FTBN or old F- 1? AE- 1 I'll pass it on for you.

Canon manual, it is worth playing with F- 1(F- 1n) or NEFF- 1.

Tell me about me-Super:

First of all, me super is a pure pk manual camera. You can use the A head, but the A head can only be used as the M head, and the aperture and focus should be set purely manually. Me super can only see the shutter speed in the viewfinder, and the viewfinder does not display parameters. Film passing is automatic, but you can use the film passing rod manually (this place is prone to problems, which is a common problem for me), and it has the function of exposure compensation. Shutter vibration is acceptable, but the camera itself is quite heavy, and that vibration has little effect on the fuselage.

Generally speaking, it's better to choose Super A, but Super A is an automatic model, and the best thing for Pentax is LX, and MX is too expensive and fun.

Finally, FM2, an exaggerated machine:

Early Gaobao's pure machinery, all-metal, titanium curtain vertical shutters ... these are very attractive. ...

However, the output is huge, the version is complex, and the source is chaotic ... This machine is good, but the domestic price is artificially high, and many sources are not credible (parts assembly machines, disassembly and repair products). Also, FM2 is only a quasi-professional machine of Nikon. Although they are all metal, they won't be so superstitious when they touch F3.

Suggestion: Choose King F3HP (High Eye Point), or get a reassuring FM2 on ebay and Morgan.

In addition, Minolta was still very successful in the MF era, such as the early SRT-1kloc-0/,and the later XD7 and XE7 were very successful. Leica's R series and XD series belong to the same family.

German SLR, RTS2, Baijia BC 1 ...

There's too much to say. That's all I said. I hope it works.

The side shaft is really light and convenient, and it is silent.

Japanese recommended a Canon QL 17 III, which is affordable and easy to use;

German Fu Lunda R2, the price is a bit high, you can go to Leica M Head.
