This name is taken from Eight Elegances of Life in Chyi Chin Shuhua's Wine and Tea. There are books and poems that convey parents' good expectations for their children. They don't expect to do anything earth-shattering They just want her to live this life peacefully and gracefully.

The Mogao Grottoes not only have exquisite murals, but also attract people's attention. The murals fly in the sky, and some cross the flower basket with their arms; Picking flowers, some embrace the pipa, gently pluck the silver strings, some ribbons fly, proudly swim all over the sky, and some stretch their arms and dance.

Fan Jinshi was attracted by these beautiful words and full of yearning for Dunhuang, dreaming that one day he could enjoy this beautiful scenery with his own eyes.

I yearned for Dunhuang. Influenced by my father, I reported to the Department of History of Peking University as an archaeology major without thinking.

My father, Fan Jilin, graduated from Tsinghua University and is an engineer. He has been a lecturer in Peking University for two years and often goes to museums to see cultural relics exhibitions.

So she knew very early that through archaeological excavations, exquisite cultural relics were unearthed. Therefore, she is full of reverie about the profession of archaeology and thinks that archaeological work must be very interesting. After graduation, he was directly assigned to Dunhuang by the school. At that time, she actually couldn't understand why she was assigned to Dunhuang because she was not acclimatized in Dunhuang.

Perhaps it was fate that made a good choice, or perhaps it was because I still loved Dunhuang in my heart.

In this way, I obeyed the distribution, thinking of serving the motherland and going to the places where the motherland needs it most.

It opened her indissoluble bond with Dunhuang.

After I arrived in Dunhuang, I studied under two old experts, Chang Shuhong and Duan Wenjie, the earliest Dunhuang experts in China. Influenced by the spirit of the older generation, I watched them willingly give up their rich lives and take root in Dunhuang.

Finally, she was buried in front of the Mogao grottoes and looked at them. This belief in guardianship has also melted into her soul, and her heart has become more and more firm. So she stayed year after year and fell in love with Dunhuang.

So she started archaeological research on the age and stages of caves and visited 735 caves in the Mogao Grottoes.

The first volume of The Complete Works of Dunhuang Grottoes (Archaeological Report) was published, which was called exquisite by Tsung i Jao, a professor at the University of Hong Kong. I admire it very much.

This is the result of years of unremitting efforts led by Fan Jinshi.
