Small tree in the crack of stone

A small tree emerged from a crack in a stone wall and branched out into two branches, lying across the small stone road around the mountain that we must pass. Its roots are firmly rooted in the stone crevices, and its green body forms a strong contrast with the gray-white stone wall. When the breeze blows, the branches sway with the wind and seem to be broken.

This is a photographic work I took while visiting Hongshi Gorge in Yuntai Mountain, Henan. While freezing this picture on the computer, I pondered for a long time and couldn't help but marvel at the tenacious vitality of the small tree. Even among the stone walls with scarce nutrients, it grew vigorously, showing its vigorous vitality. I used to run on the grass in the park, and I saw those plants and trees that were so weak that they withered due to dryness and died due to the cold. The small tree on this stone wall has no artificial maintenance and grows in the wild. It is subject to wind and rain, and it cannot be pulled out or broken. What makes her so powerful? I think it is its tenacious will and tenacious vitality that enable her to survive in a desperate situation. No one would call the little tree Hercules, but its power is unparalleled.

Didn’t you feel despair when this tree species fell into the crack of the stone wall? I think it must have happened at that time. Later, I realized the "survival of the fittest" and adapted to the harsh environment of nature as soon as possible. I desperately absorbed the limited sunshine and rain and dew. Without a sigh, I turned the suffering into the driving force to move forward and develop myself. A new world has emerged, and today we have the opportunity to meet and take photos with tourists from all over the world. Only such small trees dare to look down on the flowers in the greenhouse.

From this, I can’t help but think of Wei Xiang, a disabled college entrance examination student in Dingxi City, Gansu Province in 2019. He suffered from severe congenital disabilities and was unable to take care of himself. His father died young and he and his mother traveled to the hospital and school all year round. Wei Xiang's mother is as strong as steel. She carries her son to school year after year, day after day, rain or shine, and she also sticks to her position as a hospital nurse. Wei Xiang tried his best to overcome his physical disability and study hard. With an excellent score of 648 points in the college entrance examination, he was admitted to Tsinghua University and repaid his family, teachers and caring people in society. Tsinghua University writes to Gansu candidate Wei Xiang: Life is really hard, but please believe enough. You already have the qualities of Tsinghua people who are constantly striving for self-improvement and being virtuous. Tsinghua University welcomes you from Dingxi! Fortunately, after you experienced illness and bereavement, you still chose to be strong and work hard, and lived a life that we all respect and admire. For you, your journey may not be easy, your fate may be unfair, and your life may be miserable, but please believe enough, believe in Tsinghua University, and believe in every teacher and student in this garden, because we are all paying for something inexplicable. Xinhuanet's two articles on June 28, 2019, "A Request from a Gansu High-Scoring Candidate" and Tsinghua University's response to "A Gansu High-Scoring Candidate's Request" caused heated discussions on the Internet, attracted attention from all walks of life, and moved me. Countless Chinese people. Isn't the spirit of Wei Xiang, mother and son just like the small tree in the cracks of the rocks? Wei Xiang did not succumb to fate. After going through many hardships in his studies, he finally entered Tsinghua University and ushered in the spring of his life! Isn’t his spirit of a small tree in the cracks of rocks what we should learn from?

Small tree in the cracks of the rocks, you are so tenacious and tenacious, I want to sing your praises! I admire the small trees in the cracks of the rocks! I admire people who have the spirit of a small tree in the cracks of rocks even more!

Editor's note: I marvel at the young author's writing style, which can be tenacious in the cracks of a stone. The growing little tree connects life and the unyielding people in life, which requires the width and breadth of the author's knowledge.

The author did it, what a talent it is! A small tree has not given up growing because of the misfortune of its growing environment, so what reason do we have for not living a good life? Just like classmate Wei Xiang, he is not disabled, he is so tenacious! He is an example for us to learn and be a good person! The article uses trees as metaphors for people, which is extremely appropriate. I highly recommend it! First of all, the author can capture the small tree in the crack of the stone to describe it, which shows that the author is a careful writer. People, even when looking at the scenery, are very attentive. Secondly, the author associates trees with people, which also shows that the author is a careful person. The language of the article is fluent, rich in philosophy, and has strong educational significance! Definitely a masterpiece! Life is the source of all art. Only when we live carefully can we express our understanding of love, experience of life and thinking about life with our heart! come on! come on! Come on! The future is ours and yours, but in the final analysis it is yours. I firmly believe that your efforts will make your words more impressive, and your efforts will definitely make you better! come on! Believe in yourself and the power of ancient square words!

The only thing I can do is to look up to the blue sky above the mountains and rivers, and to the fields of hope below my feet - the buds of the mountains and rivers!

The original title of the article was called "Vitality", which was inspired by a photo taken during a trip to Yuntai Mountain in Henan Photos and descriptions of scenes are metaphors for people. Teachers have said this many times in composition classes. Thank you all teachers for your wonderful comments!
