B&B Renovation of 800 ㎡ Farmhouse in Beijing ——300 years have passed

The project is located in Dashuiyu Village, Huairou, Beijing. Dashuiyu is very famous in Beijing B&B Village, which is close to several scenic spots. Party A hopes that this project will be positioned as a mansion.

The current situation of the project is a farmhouse, which is divided into two courtyards, front and back, both of which are indoor courtyards enclosed by glass. The design strategy is to sort out the spatial relationship, give new effects through outsourcing, and reduce the damage to the original building.

The spiral staircase in the backyard forms a new visual focus, and the secondary punching (irregular hole) device for aluminum plate punching forms a new installation art for residents to punch in and take pictures. The large glass on one side of the original yard was wrapped in the shape of irregular holes, which made the window hole a part of the effect. The use of Changhong glass isolated the messy environment outside. The chandeliers in the hall complement the interior design. Palm trees wrapped around the original pillars.

Stamped aluminum plates are widely used in the design. By wrapping trusses, facades, handrails, indoor stair handrails, etc. There are hidden lights inside, and warm yellow light can pass through the small holes of perforated aluminum plate to achieve integrity. On the decoration design level, white, gray terrazzo and black terrazzo respectively correspond to the decorative effect of the wall top, and the treatment of dumb gold metal color jump is added to unify the whole space.
