Yukoucun China Civil Photography Association Interview Creation Base

Yukou Village, the interview and creation base of China Folk Photography Association, is located in Yulin City, Shaanxi Province, China, with an east longitude of about 1 10 degrees and a north latitude of about 38 degrees. Yukou Village is located on the bank of the Yellow River in the south of jia county 10 km. Village site selection is reasonable and the layout is elegant. An ancient village on the bank of the Yellow River is presented to people with the main lines of Nanheshen, Beibawang and Zhongguanyinlou. This architectural pattern is rare in the architectural history of our country, and other houses are on both sides of the axis. Its traditional manual papermaking workshop was built on the Wulong River. This display of harmony between man and nature has a very traditional architectural layout format in China. The Wulong River Grand Canyon in Yukou Village, which has been washed away by floods for many years, shows a great Tai Chi map. The S-shaped Grand Canyon contains Yangshao and Longshan cultural sites, ancient villages in the Song and Qing Dynasties, ancient tombs in the Ming Dynasty, rock paintings in Bao Zheng for three years and Yongzheng for three years, and the destroyed site of Hongmen Temple, all of which are telling people about the rise and fall of that year. The yangko in Yukou village, the folk songs in northern Shaanxi and the ceremony of beating and praying for rain still retain its true colors and embody the indomitable spirit of the Yellow River. Over the years, scholars and artists from all over the country have visited Jiaxian and Yukou for interviews, photography and investigation. The famous painter Liu Wenxi's Looking at the East of Jiacheng, Miao Zhongan's The Yellow River in Wan Li through the ages, and folk photographer Huang Fu's Sunset on Yellow Land all come from this magical land. More than ten films, such as Hero of the Yellow River, Our Leader Mao Zedong, Childhood Friends and Beidou, were shot here. The main economic industries in Yukou Village are agriculture and handicrafts (hand-made paper), and there are dozens of hand-made paper workshops in the village. The drawings made by the village have a high reputation in Shaanxi, Gansu, Ningxia, Shanxi and Mongolia. Now the main product is curtain cloth. However, in the1940s, many products including official paper, rice paper and even banknote paper (border currency) were produced. In addition, there are two paper mills in the village: Shuang Fu Paper Mill and jia county Paper Mill, which mainly produce handmade clay paper. Jia county paper mill once produced toilet paper, book paper and other products, but all closed down due to poor management, leaving only dozens of manual paper workshops. 1947 10 when chairman Mao and the CPC central Committee moved to northern Shaanxi, they visited the traditional handicraft paper-making workshops that had made great contributions to the China revolution, instructing the broad masses of workers to organize and make new contributions to the country.
