What is moire?
Question 2: What is moire? Moire fringe is the high-frequency interference of photosensitive elements on digital camera or scanner, which will cause high-frequency stripes of colors in the picture. Because moire is irregular, there is no obvious shape law. To put it bluntly, Moire is a kind of high-frequency fringe, so in order to avoid the low-pass filter on Moire camera, it will affect the imaging clarity. However, with the recent progress of CMOS technology, some of the latest models no longer need low-pass filters to ensure image quality.
Question 3: What is moire? How to reduce or eliminate moire? This phenomenon may occur in images and scanned images taken with advanced digital cameras. This phenomenon occurs when fine patterns on an object (such as woven lines on a fabric or very close parallel lines on a building) overlap with patterns on an imaging element. If two patterns overlap, a new pattern will usually be produced. This new pattern is often called moire fringe. The circular pattern (right) in the figure is composed of two kinds of grids, namely moire. In order to reduce (or eliminate) moire fringes, a special anti-aliasing filter is installed in the camera. If the anti-aliasing effect of the installed filter is too strong, the overall image effect will be weak, but moire fringes will not appear. If the anti-aliasing effect of the filter is weak, the image will be clearer, but in some cases, moire fringes are more likely to appear. The design concept of Nikon camera is to take the clearest image possible, and at the same time, to eliminate moire fringes as much as possible. Nevertheless, in some cases, moire fringes will still appear in the image, which is inevitable. Pay attention to the yellow/blue stripes (which should be pure gray) on clothes, and reduce or eliminate moire stripes. To reduce moire fringes, the following methods can be adopted: 1, changing the camera angle. Because the angle between the camera and the object will lead to moire fringes, any moire fringes can be eliminated or changed by slightly changing the camera angle (by rotating the camera). 2. Change the position of the camera. In addition, moire fringes can be reduced by changing the angular relationship by moving left and right or up and down. 3. change the focus. Too clear focus and height details on detail patterns may lead to moire fringes, and a slight change in focus can change the clarity, thus helping to eliminate moire fringes. 4. Change the focal length of the lens. Different lens or focal length settings can be used to change or eliminate moire fringes. 5. Use software to process. Such as Nikon capture or Photoshop plug-in, to eliminate any ripple on the final image. Of course, it is impossible to eliminate all moire fringes under any circumstances, but generally speaking, a clear image with a little moire fringes is better than a soft-focus lens image. Moire ripple may appear in all images generated by digital cameras and scanners, but it is most likely to appear when using SLR digital camera system, because its lens, sensor and software are all designed to produce the clearest and most accurate images. If you want to check whether the image has moire fringes, you must check the complete image on the computer screen (or camera LCD) at the ratio of 100%.
Question 4: What is moire? Is the first figure in the history of Moore Manor.
Question 5: Can moire fringe tell whether the screen is good or bad? 5 points-Moire stripe is a photographer's nightmare, whether you are a small white photographer or an old photographer.
Presumably, when many friends shoot screen objects, such as TV, monitor, mobile phone screen, tablet computer screen and so on. They will have the trouble of looking at a very clear screen, but after shooting with a camera, circles of ripples appear in the photo, which not only affects the color and clarity of the screen, but also looks unsightly.
This kind of ripple in the process of shooting is scientifically called moire effect. Many readers may feel that "moire" seems to be a French word when they see moire. In fact, it was the ancient French name for the corrugated striped silk imported from China, which was later "expropriated" by moire characters.
With a rigorous attitude, we should not only "know why" but also "why". So how did the moire fringe come into being? What is its principle? Look at the depth revealed by ZOL:
Moire fringe is actually a phenomenon produced by the superposition principle of physics, and it is actually a wave interference phenomenon between different objects. We also learned in math class that waveforms are superimposed. Generally speaking, for example, when the peaks of two sine waves are superimposed, the waveform will change.
Schematic diagram of moire fringe generation principle
When we lift the camera to take pictures, the photosensitive elements inside the camera will release high-frequency electromagnetic waves. Photographic objects, such as liquid crystal displays, will also release certain electromagnetic interference. Suppose that the photosensitive element of the camera emits one waveform and the LCD emits another waveform, then when the two electromagnetic waves intersect, the waveforms overlap and interfere with each other, changing the original waveform, forming a new waveform, and moire fringes appear.
Screenshots are essential, but moire fringes are everywhere.
Screen photography (short for screen photography) is essential in many occasions. For example, when we use a computer, we need to grab the whole screen, but it is not convenient to take screenshots at this time, so we have to take screenshots. For example, when we compare the screens of two different monitors, TV or mobile phone, we need to distinguish the advantages and disadvantages of screen expression for others through screen capture.
This damn ripple!
Screen capture is inevitable, and we can't stop the emergence of electromagnetic waves, which seems to be a very contradictory and tangled thing. At this time, we sighed: What should we do?
Moire lines will also appear on the lines of clothes.
This situation does not only happen on the shooting screen, for example, when shooting clothes with very dense fibers, the imaging element pattern of the camera may overlap with the clothing grain image, and the moire phenomenon appears again.
After reading the above introduction, do you think moire is like a scourge, and you can't escape it? Of course, we can't take this pessimistic attitude, because the problem is just for us to solve. Theoretically, we already know the general principle of moire fringe, which plays a vital role in cracking moire fringe.
Question 6: What is moire? How did it come into being? How to eliminate it? Moire fringe is a kind of high-frequency interference on the photosensitive element of digital camera, which often causes colored high-frequency fringes on the picture. If a low-pass filter is installed on the lens at the time of design, the effect will be good, but it will affect the sharpness.
Question 7: Does anyone know what software can easily remove moire fringes from pictures? The simplest thing is to use the pen tool.
Carefully select the part with moire stripes.
Then create a job choice, feather it, or blur it.
If you want to keep the original texture effect of the article
You might as well use the "imitation stamp" tool to choose a place without moire in the constituency.
Revise it repeatedly, but it takes patience.
Question 8: What do moire and moire mean in photography? Moire fringe is the high-frequency interference of photosensitive elements on digital camera or scanner, which will cause high-frequency stripes of colors in the picture.
