Yi Chan: The Secret of Tantric Yoga!

During BC 1000-500, Ya 'an people who worshipped natural gods entered and moved to the Ganges Valley. During 1000-800 BC, Night Veda and Adaveda came into being, which are a collection of primitive witchcraft and spells. During the period of 800-600 BC, in order to explain the Vedic classics, the Brahman Book (formerly known as the Brahman Book), the Forest Book (a classic used by Brahman to practice in seclusion in the forest) and the Upanishads (Upanishads, meaning "sitting nearby" and "serving") were successively produced, extending to teachers and students sitting in pairs. These three classics have laid three programs for Brahmanism: Vedic Apocalypse, ancestor worship and Brahman supremacy.

The thought and practice of Indian Tantric Buddhism was introduced to China during the Three Kingdoms period. Later, in the 4th century A.D. and the early Eastern Jin Dynasty, the body of Limidoro, a native of the Western Regions, was introduced to China. In the Tang Dynasty, Tang Xuanzang, a famous monk, traveled across the ocean to study yoga in India. After returning to China, he passed on and translated the secret scriptures, which made it an eternal story. Since then, from the Tang Dynasty to the end of the Song Dynasty, although some Tantric classics have been translated one after another, it has little influence. After Tantric Buddhism gradually spread to Japan, Tantric Buddhism lost its spread in China. However, tantric Buddhism not only survived in the snowy area, but also developed.

According to historical records, as early as the Songzan Gambu period, there were secret scriptures circulating in the snowy area. Songtsan Gambo once invited a translator from India to translate many classic works. Ji Hu, the first Indian Buddhist to preach in snowy areas, is a famous yoga middle school in India.

According to the historical records of modern Indian literature, the complete esoteric religion is currently in China, and its development in India can be divided into three stages. The early esoteric religion was miscellaneous, called Zodoro, or esoteric religion; From the Western Regions to the Han Dynasty. Chinese tantra is an orthodox tantra, Mahayana Sutra and Jingang Dingjing, which are two independent systems, called Hangduoluo, that is, tantra. It was introduced to China by the "three outstanding figures of Kaiyuan" King Kong Zhi, Xu Mituo Buddha and Bu Kong, and was called Tommy in the Kaiyuan period of Tang Dynasty. After Tommy, it was introduced to Japan and Korea from China. The Dongsi Tantric Sect introduced by Japanese Buddhist masters is Dongmi, while the Tiantai Tantric Sect introduced by Japanese missionary masters is too dense. Later esoteric religion can also be divided into two periods, the former is yoga Yotama, and the latter is supreme yoga Yotama, that is, yoga Mimas and supreme yoga Mimas. After it was introduced to Tibet by the master of Lotus and Peanut in the eighth and ninth centuries, it has spread to this day and is called Tibetan secret. The later esoteric Buddhism absorbed some things from ancient Indian Brahmanism and Neo-Hinduism, which was deeper and higher than the middle esoteric Buddhism. It can be said that the complete esoteric religion is Tibetan esoteric religion, and the complete esoteric religion is in Kangzang area of China. Although there are many factions in Tibetan tantra, there are mainly red, white, yellow and black flowers.

The meaning of secret, the so-called secret in secret religion, has about ten meanings, namely: 1 noble secret, 2 micro-secret, 3 cosmic secret, 4 hidden secret, 5 full secret, 6 heart secret, 7 times secret, 8 ignorant secret, 9 hidden secret, 10 cautious secret. Generally speaking, it is the secret of yoga, the secret of all beings, the secret of Buddhism and the secret of speaking. The secret of esotericism is the secret of openness, that is, the mystery of natural openness. The so-called "secret is by your side" means that the secret is not elsewhere, but by your side. To put it more deeply, it is "the secret is in your body." The secret is not elsewhere, but in your own body. People, in their own existence and the awakening of self-consciousness, have left many eternal mysteries. The human body itself is a great mystery. The more human beings are like this and the more developed science is, the more we need to know ourselves and the more we need to know the human body.

The secret of esoteric religion is the mystery of body, mouth and heart. Tantric believes that to achieve a person's body is to turn around and say that three things achieve three things. Mystery is karma and enlightenment is secret. Confusion is knowledge and perception is wisdom. Respect teachers and attach importance to teaching, emphasize understanding the nature of mind, turn eight knowledge into five wisdom, and focus on teaching each other. Secret religion focuses on facts, turning knowledge into wisdom, and the first three professions should be turned into three secrets. When facts are Tao, facts are true and reality is evidence. Generally speaking, the secret teaching of body secret has two meanings: ① Body secret is the inherent mystery of human body. The universe is a big mystery, life is a big mystery, and the human body is a big mystery. All the functions of the human body, the universe and heaven and earth have the function of communicating with each other. According to tantric theory, it is "six unobstructed yoga", because the universe, everything and the human body are all combined with six paths. It is very easy to get along with each other, do not interfere with each other, and often coordinate and induce each other. It's just that people didn't realize it, didn't understand it through great wisdom, didn't get methods, and didn't practice it through reasonable methods, so they didn't develop the inherent potential of the human body and play a huge functional role. (2) Body density is the secret of human body's blessing. Tantric also believes that there is no difference between the heart and the Buddha. All living beings have their mouths, and so does the Buddha. For example, if all sentient beings can practice the Three Secrets, they can turn their body, mouth and heart into the Three Secrets, thus gaining the blessing of the Buddhist and dharma circles and rapidly changing the quality of the human body. Tantric Buddhism teaches different methods of practicing the human body according to the different foundation of each person. This is a blessing to those who practice Tantric Buddhism and stimulates the infinite potential of the human body, and many incredible realms have taken place. The so-called Brahma is unique to me, heaven and earth are integrated with me, everything is integrated, and the human body and the universe are integrated into one, and the cycle is repeated. According to the tantric saying, it is "three secrets bless fast."

Regarding the truth and practice of body secrets, Dong Mi and Zangmi have different inheritance and foundation. Dongmi is a combination of human hands and fingers, plus visualization and a certain practice of Dharma, and then they are linked into different "handprints" (known as the twisting tactic in China Taoism), which can produce the effect of blessing the practitioners of Dharma. Because the local information of the human body can obtain complete information, just as ear acupuncture can treat diseases in various parts of the body, the five fingers of both hands represent earth, water, fire, wind and gas, and then the information of fire, water, wind and gas in human internal organs can be obtained, that is, the local and all information of the human body. The human body is the unity of body and mind, and the part can reflect the whole. Therefore, the ten fingers of the human body are connected with the Buddha nature of Buddhism (the function of the universe itself); Internally, it is connected with the internal organs, so it has the mystery of incomparable potential. Tantric Buddhism believes that when practicing secret dharma, the formation of "handprints" can inspire each other with the body secrets of buddhas and bodhisattvas who have made achievements in dharma, increase the rapid effect, and at the same time, it is equivalent to having the supreme wisdom function of buddhas and bodhisattvas.

The word "yoga" is mentioned everywhere in Tibetan Buddhism tantra. Yoga originated in India. It was originally a discipline independent of various sects, and was later absorbed by some classic sects. The study of yoga contains two connotations: one is the specific Indian philosophy; Second, various practical methods within the scope of this philosophy. As early as 800-600 BC, some theories and practices of yoga were discussed in ancient Indian books such as Vedas and Upanishads. In the Upanishads era, the meaning of yoga is to observe Brahma like me, to be in harmony with Brahma, and to combine with Brahma. Lieyoga is one of the three philosophical schools in Peacock Dynasty. The Yoga Sutra, written around 150 BC, begins: "Yoga is to restrain mental activities, because only in this way can bystanders (that is, ideology) maintain their own form. Without inhibition, form and activity are integrated. " It can be seen that the purpose of yoga is to achieve the unity of body and mind through some physical and mental exercises, so that the soul can be purified and people can gain infinite wisdom. Buddhism tantra adopts this method because it takes the corresponding meaning of observing and doing. In other words, the body, mouth and heart of the yogi (also known as the "three secrets") are regarded as one with the body, mouth and heart of the deity (that is, natural wisdom). Therefore, Buddhist tantric practitioners are also called "practitioners". Supreme Yoga is characterized by cultivating the midrib, adjusting breath and focusing on one place, and attaches importance to the role of external work in internal work, so that yoga can achieve perfection in work and reason.

In short, the secret religion is really mysterious and controversial, and it is really difficult to describe; But after all, it comes from the real life of human beings. Its origin, formation, development, dissemination, meaning, practice, ceremony, spiritual arrival, etc. Are the reflection of human thinking activities. Therefore, we contemporary people should be able to study it from a more scientific point of view, and try our best to make the religious practice of "Tibetan Secret", which has strong characteristics of snowy areas, get an accurate understanding and excavation.

As a tributary of human culture and thought, we don't need to do classical scrutiny. Yi Chan's simple article is here, please give us more suggestions and enjoy its knowledge resources.
