Qixia City belongs to Yantai City, Shandong Province.

Qixia City, a county-level city under the jurisdiction of Shandong Province, is managed by Yantai City. Located in the hinterland of Jiaodong Peninsula in Shandong Province, it is adjacent to Muping District and Haiyang City in the east, Zhaoyuan City and Longkou City in the west, Laiyang City in the south and Fushan District and Penglai District in the north.

Qixia is known as the roof of Jiaodong and the apple capital of China. In the Jin Dynasty, the pseudo-Qi Fuchang was analyzed for two years, and Qixia County was set as a part of Penglai Yangtuan and Laiyang. Named after the dawn of Danxia shines on the whole city.

Qixia belongs to the semi-humid climate of East Asian continental monsoon in warm temperate zone, with four distinct seasons, no severe cold in winter and no intense heat in summer.
