This should be the longest winter vacation ever. We have to stay at home because of the epidemic. My hometown is in a small village in the south. In these two months, I pressed the shutter thousands of times and left more than 500 photos. Forgive me for boasting that this is a tutorial, but it is actually my own summary! Let me share it with you from the following aspects.

Photographing tools are mainly cameras, mobile phones and tripods.

1. camera

Of course, the more advanced and complete the equipment, the better the shooting effect, but there is no need to pursue lens pixels too much. After all, we don't live by this line, just about enough. The camera is too heavy and there are too many lenses. Traveling is also a problem. After all, the road in the countryside is not so easy. ? I only have a Sony a6000 camera myself, and it broke down six months ago, so I don't know much about camera photography, so I mainly share mobile phone photography with you.

The mobile phone I use is Glory 20, and the pixels are not bad. When I take pictures, I usually use the original camera that comes with my mobile phone, so the photos I take have higher pixels than beauty cameras or other filter cameras, and there is more room for later retouching.

I usually do the following in camera settings.

① Resolution

You can set the scale and sharpness of the shot. I like to use full screen recently, which makes me feel more cinematic.

② References

Open the reference line, which is convenient for composition and will not be crooked.

③ Acoustic photography

Grab the phone with one hand, click on the screen with the other, and press the shutter with your mouth. This operation should not be too intimate. Mom doesn't have to worry about my inattention anymore!

But there is still a gap between mobile phones and cameras. After several apps retouch the photos taken by the mobile phone, the pixels will be worse. (useful retouching software will be shared later)

tripod

Mainly used to fix mobile phones or cameras. If I take a selfie, I will take it with me. If I take pictures of the scenery, I basically don't need it. Occasionally need to shoot down. If it's not high enough, you can shoot it with a selfie stick, so the lens will be higher.

To sum up, if you like taking pictures, you can also make movies with only one mobile phone.

1. Decide where to shoot and what to shoot.

Indeed, many times beauty is discovered by accident, but without the usual accumulation of photos, it is difficult for us to practice a pair of eyes to discover beauty. Just like headless flies bumping into each other, you can catch whatever you want and you can't take a good picture. So we need to think about where to shoot and what to shoot in advance. Taking rural photography as an example, we can learn some characteristic buildings and landscapes of this village. For example, March is the season of rape blossoms, and I want to shoot rape blossoms. I knew that there was a rape field behind my grandmother's house, so I decided on the shooting location and object. In fact, I photographed not only rape flowers, but also other wild flowers in the field, so I took them conveniently, and the reflection of the passing pond was also beautiful, so I took them. Every time I go out to take pictures, I will set a shooting theme, and everything outside the theme is an unexpected surprise.

Step 2: Skills

First of all, the mobile phone camera should be fully charged.

Secondly, see if you need to bring water, umbrellas, etc. According to the situation.

Then according to the destination situation, choose a pair of suitable shoes and wear suitable clothes. Is it inappropriate to shoot mountains in short skirts and high heels?

Of course, you can prepare some props that match your shooting theme.

Also, you can browse what you want to shoot online and see how others shoot. You can learn from it. I usually read it in Little Red Book, Weibo and Tumbler.

What I'm talking about here is what to do after shooting, not how to retouch the picture after shooting. Because in the process of taking pictures, we often take pictures from multiple angles to find the perfect one. In order to capture the perfect dynamic picture, blurred photos are often taken. There are also photos that looked beautiful at that time and felt ordinary after being taken. These should all be out!

Personally, I think retouching is a particularly laborious task. I just want to retouch the pictures that are worth repairing. Maybe you will think it is not beautiful but not ugly, so keep it as a souvenir. But people's energy is limited. When you focus on dealing with these ordinary photos, it means that you spend less energy on more satisfactory photos.

A really good photographer will not allow himself to take junk photos, so the more photos, the better, but the better. The process of selecting photos is actually a learning process. Why is this photo worth keeping and why should it be deleted? In fact, the brain has unconsciously told us what to avoid or pay attention to in the next shooting.

It's not easy to retouch pictures and screen photos. I used to put this sentence on the wall to remind myself, and now I give it to you.

Before and during filming, we may have a general direction in mind. What style do we want to shoot? After shooting, we can retouch the picture according to the style we want. However, it is also possible that in the process of retouching, you will find that the style of this photo is different. At this time, you will be very entangled. What kind of repairs will it be?

I suggest to try two photos first, try various styles, and finally choose the right style and process the favorite one in batches.

For example, the sun is just right today, and the breeze is not dry. It is better to take a walk by the lake with your mobile phone. For example, now that rape blossoms are in March, standing on the roof to see where there is yellow, go to which field to shoot rape blossoms. I like taking pictures. If I take too many photos, I will be more sensitive. I can tell at a glance whether this place is suitable for taking pictures and whether I have the impulse to take pictures. This is all my feelings accumulated by years of photography.
