How to deconstruct a picture from a professional perspective?
As a photographer, you should determine the content of shooting and think about the method of shooting.
The countryside is a common shooting theme. Taking a good picture of rural themes requires three-dimensional thinking.
The author consciously introduces the cloister line to guide the viewer's line of sight. This line is clearly visible in the picture. It is calm and can't make waves. The reader's eyes can easily change accordingly, achieving the ideal photographic effect.
Unconscious knowledge refers to the countryside you see in your life or the concepts stored in your mind. For example, if you read Mr. Yu Guangzhong's Homesickness and then conceive the countryside, you will have more emotional tension.
The author makes the vast mountains endless, but you can't find anyone's trace, leaving a vague melancholy in your heart.
The two trees in front of the hospital are flourishing, and there is no deep courtyard at all. Perhaps through time, we can recall the past dribs and drabs.
A good photographic work should have a theme, so that you can choose the shooting angle, or shoot down, up or flat. As for artistic conception, it depends on the collocation of subject and object, ethereal and full of artistic conception, and grand momentum naturally arises.
The author used banner panoramic format to shoot a corner of the country, with mountains, water, houses and reflections.
The author photographed the house in a vertical panoramic format, showing the landscape features in a ratio of 3: 1, which aroused the curiosity of the viewers on both sides of the photo.
The author divides Cangshan Mountain in an asymmetric way, so that the vertical and horizontal parts form a competitive relationship. Although there are differences in details and the overall structure is similar, small differences break the excessive "perfection".
Foothold, perspective and angle-these concepts often appear in photographic terms. Generally speaking, it refers to the way people look at things. This way greatly dilutes the photographer's subjective perspective.
The author shoots the old man from a head-up perspective, and there is a sense of familiarity, intimacy, calmness and persuasiveness in the photos. The eyes and bodies of the elderly tend to be consistent, and the silver-gray background highlights the characteristics of the elderly who are serene and steady. The side backlight presents the details of the old man's face to the viewer.
The closer an image element is to the camera, the greater its imaging in the image. Polylines are formed in this way. A stump with equal thickness from top to bottom is thick at the top and thin at the bottom. The dimension of the photo has also been realized.
If you have mastered the above contents and have a little interest in photography, then hard practice is king.
As a photographer, I want to share with you my growth path:
Learn and watch your favorite photos. Analyze the theme, composition and photography techniques of each photo, and consciously strengthen the relationship between them.
You have to set a direction for yourself. Photography has many directions. You should know exactly which one you specialize in. Taking the author as an example, I have been paying attention to landscape photography for two years.
Because rural scenery can be photographed all year round. But do your homework before shooting. We should fully understand the geomorphological features, ethnic customs, seasonal characteristics and local specialties of this area, and even know what trees, grasses, flowers and fruits are planted in this area, and then integrate artificial beauty with natural beauty.
Without this step, you can never improve your photography skills. A lot of practice will make shooting happen subconsciously. Just like musicians who practice hard all the year round, they can improve their playing skills through quantitative training, and only later can they try difficult tracks.
Every once in a while, I take out old films and evaluate them myself. Analyze the advantages and disadvantages of pictures, pick out what you don't like, and when you pick up the camera again, you can release more energy and concentrate on improvisation.
