Baggage regulations of China International Airlines:

1, checked baggage allowance

Each piece of checked baggage shall not be less than 2 kilograms.

The maximum weight of each checked baggage shall not exceed 45 kg. In international transportation, the weight of each checked baggage generally does not exceed 32 kilograms. If the baggage exceeds 32kg, but not more than 45kg, you must comply with the relevant regulations of airport arrival and subsequent carriers.

The sum of the length, width and height of each piece of checked baggage shall not exceed 203 cm and shall not be less than 60 cm.

Checked baggage exceeding the free checked baggage allowance can be transported as checked baggage after paying the excess baggage fee; However, luggage exceeding the maximum volume or weight cannot be transported as checked baggage, but should be transported as goods.

2. Packaging of checked baggage

The checked baggage should be properly packed and fixed to ensure that it can withstand certain pressure and can be safely unloaded and transported under normal operating conditions. The packaging of checked baggage shall also meet the following requirements:

Suitcases, travel bags and handbags should be locked to avoid theft. ?

Two or more bags cannot be bundled into one. ?

No extra items may be stuffed into the checked baggage.

Baggage shall not be wrapped in bamboo baskets, net bags, ropes, straw bags, plastic bags, etc. ?

The passenger's name, specific address and telephone number should be written on the inside and outside of the luggage.

3. It is not allowed to be checked as checked baggage or checked baggage.

The following items are not suitable for transportation because of the following reasons: fragile or perishable items, lithium batteries and other items are dangerous and unsafe, or because of their weight, size, shape or nature, or considering factors including but not limited to aircraft types.

4. Transport regulations for lithium batteries in passengers' luggage

According to ICAO's Technical Rules for the Safety of Air Transport of Dangerous Goods (version 20 1 1-20 12), portable electronic equipment (watches, calculators, cameras, mobile phones, notebook computers, video cameras, etc.). ) contains lithium or lithium-ion batteries for the personal use of passengers or crew members, and should be taken on board as hand luggage.

The spare batteries of portable electronic equipment must be separately short-circuited (put in the original retail packaging or insulate the electrodes in other ways, such as sticking adhesive tape on the exposed electrodes, or putting each battery in a separate plastic bag or protective box), and can only be carried in hand luggage. 3. Guns, ammunition, military or police equipment (including main parts), except those that meet the requirements of 8. 1.3. 10 of these conditions.

(1) Military guns and official guns: pistols, rifles, submachine guns, machine guns, riot guns, etc.

(2) Civilian guns: air guns, anesthesia injection guns, etc. ;

6. Articles prohibited from leaving, entering or transiting by relevant national laws, regulations or decrees.

Articles that may not be transported as checked baggage:

7. Articles restricted from transportation

(6)? Precision instruments, electrical appliances, metals, bulk items and other items should be checked as goods, and the weight of such items is not included in the free baggage allowance.

(7)? The liquid, gel and spray articles in each passenger's hand luggage should be packed in a container with a capacity not exceeding 100 ml, and the total amount should not exceed 1 liter.

(8) Electric wheelchairs for passengers to travel.

8、? check luggage

(1) After the luggage is delivered to China Eastern Airlines, China Eastern Airlines will issue luggage tags for each checked baggage.

(3) The checked baggage will be carried with the passengers on the same plane. If it cannot be carried on the same plane under special circumstances, China Eastern Airlines will explain to passengers that the checked baggage will be transferred to the next flight if the load allows.

(4) The checked baggage should be packed in suitcases or other suitable containers, with intact locks and firm binding, which can withstand certain pressure and ensure the transportation safety under normal operating conditions; China Eastern Airlines may refuse to accept and transport the baggage that does not meet the packaging requirements as checked baggage, and/or shall not be responsible for the damage or breakage.

8. Non-checked baggage

(1) The weight of each piece of non-checked baggage shall not exceed 10kg, the volume shall not exceed 25× 45× 56cm, and the sum of three sides shall not exceed 1 15cm.

(2) The luggage carried on the plane should be placed under the front passenger seat or in the luggage rack at the top of the cabin, and it is not allowed to carry articles judged to be too big or too heavy according to the standard of 8.3. 1 into the cabin.

(3) Passengers with first-class tickets can carry 2 pieces of non-checked baggage with them; Passengers holding business class or economy class tickets can only carry 1 piece of non-checked baggage with them.

9. Free baggage weight

(1) The free baggage allowance includes checked baggage and non-checked baggage.

13. When passengers take flights with different amounts of free baggage, they shall be calculated according to the weight or piece rate specified in the ticket.

14、? The free baggage allowance for passengers who "voluntarily change their voyage" shall be handled in accordance with the provisions on the free baggage allowance applicable to the ticket fare class after the change of voyage.

15、? Passengers who involuntarily change the class of accommodation are entitled to free baggage allowance according to the original fare class.

16、? The free baggage allowance for combined transportation is calculated according to the relevant regulations of China Eastern Airlines and IATA.

17. Small animals (except auxiliary dogs carried by disabled people) whose containers and food are not included in the free baggage allowance. They can only be transported as excess baggage, and passengers need to pay according to the excess baggage rate standard applicable to small animals, their containers and food weight.

18、? Auxiliary equipment for disabled passengers (including but not limited to wheelchairs) is not included in the free baggage allowance and can be transported for free.

19、? Excess baggage fee

(1) The excess of checked baggage and non-checked baggage over the passenger's free baggage allowance is called overweight baggage, and the excess baggage fee shall be paid.

(2) Charge the excess baggage fee and issue the excess baggage ticket to the passengers.

(4) Weight system: 65438 per kilogram+0.5% of the published fare of one-way direct adult economy class applicable on the flight day.

(5) Piece-by-piece system: calculated according to the fixed rate published and applied by IATA in Passenger Air Freight Rate (PAT).

20. The amount of fees shall be in the currency of the country or region where it is located, with one decimal point reserved and the mantissa rounded off.

1, declared baggage value

(1) When the value of checked baggage exceeds $20 per kilogram, passengers can go through the formalities of baggage value declaration.

(2) The declared value of the checked baggage cannot exceed the actual value of the baggage itself. The maximum declared value of each passenger's luggage is $2,500 (beyond this limit, passengers can purchase other social insurance products by themselves). If China Eastern Airlines disagrees with the declared value or the passengers refuse to be inspected, China Eastern Airlines has the right to refuse to accept the consignment.

(3) If the limit specified in 8.6. 1 of these conditions is exceeded, China Eastern Airlines will charge a surcharge of 5‰ of the declared baggage value. The amount is in RMB yuan, and the mantissa after the decimal point is rounded off.

(4) China Eastern Airlines only accepts passengers' application for the declared value of their checked baggage.

(5) China Eastern Airlines does not declare the baggage value for non-checked baggage, passengers' personal belongings, small animals and seat-occupying baggage.

(6)? Baggage with declared baggage value is not included in the free baggage allowance.

2. Right of inspection

For security reasons, China Eastern Airlines can conduct security inspection, scanning or X-ray inspection of passengers' luggage in conjunction with relevant departments, and passengers should be present; China Eastern Airlines is not responsible for any losses suffered by passengers who are not on the scene after learning that their checked baggage has been inspected. If the passenger refuses to check in, China Eastern Airlines may refuse to transport the passenger or his luggage.

3. Baggage collection and transportation

(1) Passengers should check their luggage with a valid ticket, and China Eastern Airlines should fill in the quantity or/and weight of the checked luggage on the ticket and baggage check.

(2) China Eastern Airlines only collects luggage when it goes through check-in procedures on the day of flight departure. If passengers want to check in advance, they must obtain the consent of China Eastern Airlines in advance.

(3) China Eastern Airlines should stick the luggage tag on every piece of luggage checked by passengers and give the logo to the passengers.

(4) When the passenger consigns the baggage that is in dispute with the transportation responsibility, China Eastern Airlines shall hang the baggage claim tag exempted from the responsibility with the written consent of the passenger; China Eastern Airlines is not responsible for the damage caused by such baggage transportation, otherwise China Eastern Airlines has the right to refuse transportation.

(5) Except that the assistive devices for the disabled have been damaged before the passengers deliver them, no disclaimer should be filled in.

4. Small animals

(1) When transporting small animals such as dogs, cats and poultry, passengers should make a reservation in advance and obtain the prior consent of China Eastern Airlines before transporting them. The transportation of small animals shall be handled by a continuous carrier, and the consent of the relevant continuous carrier shall also be obtained. Small animals should be put in proper containers and show valid health and vaccination certificates and documents required by the country of entry or transit; The legal responsibility for the authenticity of the above documents shall be borne by the passengers themselves, including but not limited to any fines or losses incurred by them or China Eastern Airlines.

(2) Small animals can only be transported in the cargo hold. Passengers should transport small animals to the airport for consignment on the day of flight.

(3) The weight of small animals, their containers and the food they contain is not included in the free baggage allowance of passengers. (See 8.4.5 of this condition)

(4) Except for the fault of China Eastern Airlines, passengers are fully responsible for the illness, escape, injury and death of the checked small animals during transportation.

(5) The containers for transporting small animals shall meet the requirements of China Eastern Airlines.

(6) Auxiliary dogs, guide dogs and hearing dogs can be brought into the cabin by passengers who are inconvenient to walk, blind passengers or deaf passengers themselves, provided that they meet the transportation conditions of China Eastern Airlines. Auxiliary dogs, guide dogs and hearing dogs, together with their containers and food, can be transported free of charge and are not included in the free baggage allowance.

(7) According to the needs of safety and health, China Eastern Airlines has the right to limit the number of small animals transported by each plane and decide the mode of transportation of small animals.
