Hengdian is located in Dongyang City, Jinhua City, Zhejiang Province. Hengdian Town, under the jurisdiction of Dongyang City, is the most famous film and television shooting base in China and the first "National Film and Television Industry Experimental Zone" in China, and is known as "Magnetic Capital of China" and "Hollywood of China". Hengdian owns Hengdian Film and Television City, a national 5A-level scenic spot, and has 14 large-scale scenic spots and film and television shooting bases, among which Hengdian Film and Television City is the largest film and television shooting base in the world.

Hengdian town is located in the hilly area of central Zhejiang, with inconvenient transportation. Mountains and rivers are continuous, known as "seven mountains, two waters and one field".
