From June 2065438 to June 2004, Anshun West Station was located at the junction of Datun, Xiaotun and Fuqi Village in Anshun Development Zone. The plan to expand the station building of Anshun West Station from the original design of 6000 square meters to 10000 square meters was approved by China Railway Corporation. On June 26th, Anshun West Railway Station officially started construction.
