Focal depth refers to the distance that the focus is allowed to move along the optical axis of the lens while maintaining a clear image. Inversely proportional to aperture; inversely proportional to shooting distance; directly proportional to lens focal length. Depth of focus refers to the distance that the focal plane of the image is allowed to move; depth of field refers to the clearer range in which the subject can be recorded.
