[Introduction to the Story]

In contemporary America. Charlie Babbitt is a young car dealer in Los Angeles. His mother died a long time ago, and his father was a millionaire, but he had no feelings for him. On this day, the law firm called him to tell him that his widowed father had passed away. Charlie didn't want to leave the west coast and the company to attend the funeral. However, my father left a large legacy, which can bring hope to the revival of his business. With this in mind, he and Susan went to Cincinnati to attend his father's funeral.

When I arrived at my father's house, I saw that the house was really big. Father's favorite 1949 Buick white convertible is parked in the spacious garage. Seeing this car, Charlie couldn't help but think of a past event: when his father was alive, Charlie drove this car out for a ride without his father's consent, and was detained by the police as a "car thief" on the way and kept in the police station for two days ... A series of memories made Charlie, who lived in this luxurious mansion, not feel kind at all, but was caught by a sense of fear. I thought of Rain Man. When I was a child, there seemed to be a man named Rain Man at home. He also sang "Rain Man, Rain Man, don't look at his stupidity, singing and holding on ...".

The next day, Charlie met his lawyer. When the lawyer announced his will, Charlie became more and more wrong, suspecting that he was going deaf. It may be that my father hasn't been in contact with Charlie for a long time, so he actually listed the $3 million inheritance as a trust fund (that is, entrusted others to manage it). "I am my dad's son, but my dad doesn't even have any flesh and blood feelings." Charlie was angry. All he got was an old Buick and a rose garden. So, who will inherit the $3 million? Charlie rushed to the bank to ask, only to know that the beneficiary of the money was Raymond Babbitt. Charlie was stunned. Who is this man? His last name is Babbitt, too. Is it his brother? Haven't heard of him for so many years? Charlie found out that Ramon is now living in a mental hospital. So he took Susan to a hospital called Warbrook. He met the attending doctor, Dr. Bruner. The latter introduced the situation to him, and Charlie was stuffed with a piece of lead. Raymond is indeed his eldest brother, suffering from autism (a kind of mental retardation), so he has been called "Rain Man" (commonly known as claustrophobic) since he was a child. However, apart from being silent, other aspects are normal. Charlie decided to take Ramon back to Los Angeles as his guardian. So, the two brothers and Susan started a week-long trip.

The two brothers arrived at the airport, only to find that Raymond made a scene as soon as he saw the plane. He said it was unsafe to fly, and counted the time and place of major air crashes in recent years ... Anxious Charlie had to drive his father's old car and take Raymond to the expressway. There was a car accident late that night. The flashing lights of the police car stimulated Raymond. He got up and got off the bus and stubbornly left the unsafe highway. Charlie was helpless, so their car had to drive slowly on the country road. Raymond has the habit of watching fixed TV programs at a fixed time (because he can only learn about the outside world from TV). At that moment, he refused to hurry any longer, so Charlie had to take him into a private house and ask to watch TV. Raymond still has many habits that he can't change. For example, every meal has some kind of food, and he only wears underwear bought from the store, which makes Charlie laugh and cry. Once, Charlie got off to make a phone call, and Raymond got off and walked over. When crossing the road, the red light came on. When he saw the words "no traffic", he immediately stopped in the middle of the road, surrounded by cars. He was so angry that the driver came down and caught him. During the trip, Charlie was exhausted by Ramon's many eccentric habits and made a fool of himself because of his ignorance of the world. But he also found Ramon has amazing memory and mental arithmetic ability. For example, he can quickly remember all the phone numbers from A to G in the phone book. When the toothpick box fell to the ground, he could immediately tell how many toothpicks were in it. So Charlie took Raymond to a casino in Las Vegas and made a fortune with his extraordinary memory.

Charlie, who has always only known how to do business, gradually learned to care and care for people through the contact of his brother, and realized that there is brotherhood more precious than money in the world.

When the two brothers finally arrived in Los Angeles, Charlie could not live without his brother.

[Highlights]

In the original script, Raymond's personality is cheerful and friendly. But after reading the script for the first time, dustin hoffman successfully persuaded the screenwriter to turn him into an introverted autistic.

Steven Allan Spielberg initially considered directing the film, and he also started to raise money for the filming. Later, his good friend george lucas needed help in filming the third part of his Indiana Jones series, so he had to start it and gave the shooting plan to now, the director of the film.

Raymond said he bought his underwear at K-Mart on Oak Street and Burnett Street. This address is actually a hotel in Cincinnati called Vernon Manor Hotel. At the beginning of the film, Charlie, Raymond and Susanna stayed in this hotel.

Raymond remembers the names in two phone books, Martha and William Gertzgen, which are the names of dustin hoffman's in-laws in real life.

Shortly after the film started, when the lawyer read Charlie his will, he said, "I will definitely get the rose garden." I definitely got the rose garden. " This implies that Raymond will use the word "affirmation" a lot from now on.

Jake Hoffman, the boy standing behind the cashier in the pancake shop, is dustin hoffman's son.

The origin of the word "Rain Man": The Oscar-winning film starring dustin hoffman has an odd name, Rain Man. The origin of "Rain Man" is that the protagonist Lehman has always called himself "Ruiman" because of his unclear pronunciation, which is written as "Rain Man" in English and literally translated as "Rain Man". It should be said that this is an unsuccessful and embarrassing translation. Surprisingly, however, "Rain Man" later became a proper noun with special significance-it refers to a person who has some special talents but can't take care of himself in daily life, or worse, it is called "idiot genius"-the "Rain Man" played by dustin hoffman in the play is such a person who is unusually sensitive to numbers.

[Wonderful dialogue]

Susanna: You use me, you use Raymond, you use everyone.

Charlie: Using Raymond? Hey, Raymond, am I using you? Am I using you, Raymond?

Raymond: Yes.

Charlie: Shut up! He is answering the question an hour and a half ago!

-

[Duplicate line]

Raymond: I am an excellent driver.

-

[Raymond and Susanna jump in the car]

Charlie: Hey, who is this guy?

Susanna: He jumped in the car.

Charlie: Yes, he can jump out. Come on!

Raymond: I am an excellent driver.

Charlie: That's good. Come on! Susanna, why did you let him get on the bus? This is not a toy.

Susanna: He said he drove this car.

Raymond: Dad, let me drive slowly in the driveway every Saturday. Of course, the seat was originally brown leather, and now it is poor red.

Charlie: (surprised) Hey, these seats are brown leather. Do you know this car?

Raymond: I know this car.

Charlie: How do you know about this car?

Raymond: It's a 1949 Buick Roadblock. Straight 8. Fireball 8. There are only 8985 production models. Dad told me to drive slowly in the driveway. But not Monday, definitely not Monday.

Charlie: Who's your father?

Raymond: Sanford Babbitt. No 1096 1 Beach Street, Cincinnati, Ohio.

Charlie: That's my address. Hey, who's your mother?

Raymond: Eleanor Babbitt. 1965 died on 1 5 after a brief illness.

Charlie: Who the hell are you?

Raymond: Oh, Judge Wopner will be here in 15 minutes.

[Raymond returns to Warbrook, ignoring Charlie]

Charlie: Wait, I want to ask you a question! Hey! Dr. Bruner, who is he?

Dr Bruner: Raymond is your brother.

[Through the lens]

Found the mistake: Charlie, Raymond and Susanna checked into the first hotel, and then Susanna growled wildly. When she hit the door, it was obvious from the way the door and the wall shook that the background was set in advance.

Continuity: In the laundromat, the dryer on Raymond's left is switched on and off with the change of lens.

Continuity: Raymond takes pictures in the film with 126 film camera. We can see that the developed photos are all rectangular. In fact, the photos of 126 film should be square.

Continuity: Raymond is going to kamate in Cincinnati to buy underwear. In the same store, he gave two different addresses, 200 Oak and 400 Oak.

[Award-winning record]

This film satirizes the living habits and thoughts of normal people from the perspective of abnormal people, and both protagonists have wonderful performances. The film won the Berlin Golden Bear Award and the 6 1 Oscar for best film, best director, best original script and best actor.

Rain Man: the title song to protect love. In Vivaldi's eternal "Four Seasons", he wrote a love song "2006 Aijia" that never leaves the sword school.

"We Don't Cry": the title song of smiling love. Maybe there is no eternal love in the world, at least there are constant blessings in Huajian's love songs. Jane's harmony and the new formula of guitar, playing on the ear is the simplest touch.

"The Road to Love": The title song of understanding love, I have you along the way, so I can stand it; With you along the way, the flowers witnessed our love for each other.

Love Rose: the title song that illuminates love, and the most meaningful fragrance of Xinhua Jian's variety show. Top master Li Zhiqing+Eric Ng challenged Huajian Golden Voice Qigong, and the ferryman showed his internal skills exclusively.

Time: the title song of magical love, creating Huajian orthographic symbol DNA. The flowing god sings a song, reflecting the best time and the most beautiful moment in life.

Supplementary collection: the legendary swordsman, the theme song at the end of the 2006 movie The Condor Heroes, and Love All over the World, the theme song of automobile advertisements.

Kemp showed unusual jumping ability since he was a child. In high school, he often made some difficult dunks that NBA professional players could not complete. 1989, the seattle supersonics team selected this young man from Xiehe High School with the first draft pick of 17. At that time, there were very few players who entered the NBA directly from high school. It is generally believed that high school players will not have any great future, and they will be discriminated against by coaches or other players on the team to a greater or lesser extent. Kemp, who is introverted and taciturn, entered the NBA with a very low profile. He only started once in his first season in training camp? Proud? コ コ コ? .5 points and 4.3 rebounds, but if you consider that the average playing time is only 13.8 minutes, this result is average.

However, the stubborn Kemp is not an ordinary person. He is cold in appearance and fanatical in heart. Great energy keeps accumulating and expanding in his heart. In the second season, Kemp broke out in silence. His amazing bounce and dunk left his opponent at a loss. At that time, there were three players in NBA who could take off and dunk from the free throw line: "Michael Jordan", "Glider" drexler and "Rain Man" shawn kemp. (Later, a white player named Barry also completed this extremely difficult action under the guidance of drexler). Whether at home or away, fans flocked to the stadium to watch Kemp's performance, and Kemp became a first-class star in the NBA.

On the All-Star weekend that year, Kemp participated in the dunk contest, and every dunk he made surprised everyone. In the final, he met the little Dubran, and the audience was dumbfounded! The dunk contest of that era was a real dunk contest, which was incomparable in technology, difficulty and flying height. There is nothing to say about the artistry and creativity of the two dunks, but Kemp dunked not to show off, but to vent his inner feelings. So when Kemp's dunk was not in the battlefield but in the performance field, the feeling behind the dunk was weakened. At this point, before the last dunk, the "cunning" Dubran tried his best to schedule the atmosphere to please the audience, and Kemp would not put on a show. In the end, Dubran won the "slam dunk king" with a slight advantage.

At the same time, the SuperSonics produced a master-"Ghost Hand" Payton, and he and shawn kemp combined to form the Seattle Black Wind Double Evil! The team's performance is also rising. 1994, Kemp was selected as the second dream team and easily won the world men's basketball championship. Subsequently, Kemp continued his devastating dunk, and was selected to the second NBA team three times in 1994, 1995 and 1996. At this time, the "Rain Man" is majestic and invincible! (Note: Some materials write Kemp's nickname as "Feather Man". After textual research, the author thinks it should be "Rain Man" rather than "Feather Man". The origin of this nickname is because people at that time described Kemp's dunk as a downpour, which could not stop at all. It's going to rain, Kemp is going to dunk.
