Nikolai Gavrinovic Chernyshevski (Russian: николайгавриловичч) It was in this school that Chernyshevski became attached to literature. 1846, 18 years old, entered the Department of Literature and History of Petersburg University. Chernyshevski is not only a famous Russian writer, but also a representative figure who opposed the czar's serfdom in 1960s. His activities were highly praised by Marx, Engels, Lenin and Stalin. Lenin praised him for "maintaining a complete level of philosophical materialism from 1950s to 1888".
