Sony 43e camera is connected to the computer.

Sony has two 43E cameras, one is DCR-HC43E with magnetic tape as storage medium, and the other is DCR-SX43E with memory card as storage medium. The two cameras are connected in different ways, and the captured content is collected/copied to the computer, namely:

A.DCR-HC43E

Videos taken by cameras (including Sony DCR-HC43E) with magnetic tape as storage medium must be collected on the computer with 1394 acquisition card. The following figure shows the common acquisition card and 1394 data line. The acquisition steps are as follows:

A. connect the power adapter to the DC input interface of the camera.

B use 1394 acquisition card to connect the camera to the desktop computer (or use 4-6 firewire to connect the notebook computer with acquisition card and the notebook computer with 1394 acquisition card).

C. use audio and video/canopus pro coder/adobe premiere pro and other software to set the acquisition parameters and collect the data on the tape. It should be noted that the data collected on the magnetic tape by the acquisition card is collected synchronously, that is, how long it takes to collect the data, which is cumbersome and time-consuming. (This is one of the reasons why magnetic tape is gradually replaced by hard disk/flash)

D, according to the actual needs, edit and make the collected video by using audio/video/Canopus Pro Coder/Adobe Premiere Pro and other software.

After editing, you can save or burn VCD/DVD discs.
