What was locked before was a 24mmf 1.8, which can meet our requirements after actual use! On the whole, color reproduction is saturated. The snow-capped mountains far away from Linzhi County are clear on sunny days and there is no noise in the blue sky. No purple edge phenomenon was found at the edge of snow mountain. The details of the dark part have exceeded our expectations! Excellent restoration. It shows the characteristics of Zeiss Gao Fancha, with outstanding details and sharp edges. The picture looks very three-dimensional!
But we also made a comparison with NEX5. Under the same setting, the saturation is not as high as 7, and the picture quality is obviously better. Of course, the pixels are there. Strictly speaking, this comparison is of little significance, but it should be pointed out that the sensitivity of NEX7 is relatively moist, especially after comparing with the 5 of the same door.
The hardest thing is the lens problem!
Now that you have 24mm, it will naturally compare with 18-55mm and 16mm you bought on NEX5! The result is very disappointing, 18-55 is very fleshy, the imaging is completely different from that of 24mm, and the picture quality is loose. 16mm is not much better. As a wide-angle lens of Sony E-port, 16mm makes me very disappointed! I shoot documentaries with many themes, and the wide-angle end is very important! If the most important quality of 16mm is average, there is only another way.
At the beginning, I did a very naive thing, subjectively thinking that it was all APS-C format, so I thought it would be easy to get super wide angle by connecting Nikon APS-C format lens to the adapter ring, but it was not, and it would also produce magnification! There is also a coefficient of 1.5 when looking up information on the internet, but it is not clear. Nikon 17-55f2.8, which was originally optimistic, can only be abandoned. You won't be forced to pay attention to the last 14mmf2.8, will you? Diffraction problem
NEX7 pixels have reached the level of more than 20 million, and it is in APS-C format, so we have to consider the problem of small aperture diffraction of the lens! So I really dare not consider low-level shots. The problem returns to its original state.
Sony can't be unaware of the lack of focal length of NEX series lenses. If you don't change it, you can only consider 18-200mm, but the portability problem is put on the desktop again.
I still want to say here that the picture quality of NEX7 is beyond my expectation, delicate and excessively good, and the saturation is higher than that of the same series, especially with Zeiss 24mm, but it is precisely because this lens is too prominent, unlike other lens styles, and the gap is too obvious.
Many people will say, it's embarrassing to transfer the lens and supplement it with other lenses! The main thing is that there are not many real choices! Moreover, once you turn, you will lose AF, focus on the peak, and always consider hyperfocal distance when shooting humanistic themes, thus losing the significance of buying NEX7. Moreover, Leica, Zeiss and Schneider are always available, and they can only focus on Leica and Fu Lunda in terms of portability. I analyzed it, too. It's unrealistic.
Sima, Tuli, Longteng
It is said that these independent lens factories have joined Sony's camp, but so far none of the lenses I want have appeared. (But it doesn't mean later) The only reality is Tuli11-16mmf2.8! Also use the adapter ring, it's so helpless!
Sima made a 30mm, and Longteng was 18-200, but it was still because that 24mm was too prominent, and it was repeated with Sony's own lens, which was of little significance.
If this is calculated, the price will become a problem if it is configured according to high standards!
What I can think of after compromise is this configuration, wide-angle Tuli11-16mmf2.8.
Standard wide-angle Zeiss 24mmf2.8
Leica TV focus 90mmf2.
The reason is this: Tully's style at the wide-angle end is tough,
1 1mm terminal can have a wide angle of 16.5mm and an aperture of 2.8, which is easy to control even if it is used in hyperfocal distance, and the price is much lower than that of German lens. Personally, I feel that Tuli lens is closer to Nikon, although it is a bit far-fetched.
Let's use the original 24mmf2.8 as the standard wide angle. At least 36 mm. The picture quality is not good, and it smells like Zeiss. It's not authentic German Zeiss, but it's not bad.
Don't expect NEX7 to be the same as SLR, but its outstanding features are convenience and image quality, only Leica 90mm! A small camera bag can hold all these items without becoming a burden, which is a compromise. According to the size of NEX7, portable, flexible and mechanically controlled electronic lenses may not be available. Let's say it's a lens of canon EF. Although many brands of lenses can be used in NEX series by switching, I always think that telephoto should be done by SLR, otherwise the significance of NEX portability will be gone.
Another configuration scheme
With Sony's LA-A2, unfortunately, your money will cost more than 2,000 yuan. Moreover, Sony A series really has few wide angles. It is said that the zoom wide angle has been discontinued and the market is very small. And it is not cheap.
I saw many people choose Leica, Zeiss, Konica and so on on the Internet, but these lenses are still a matter of coefficient, so the focal length is more.
There is also the Leica R series, or this price! Leica is the patent of the rich. It's too difficult to walk into an ordinary photographer! There is no need to be unhappy with your wife because of the camera.
I'm the kind of person who thinks about the camera because of shooting. The starting point is to set the tone according to your own shooting style. I won't go to a dead end because of the high quality of a lens, so I recommend this configuration, which is really helpless. The principle is practical. Nobody's money is planted in the fields these days.
German lens quality is not bad, but that's the conclusion on the film. The appearance of digital cameras puts forward some requirements for' old' lenses, especially chromatic dispersion and autofocus. There are many films of various shots on the Internet, and there is no shortage of high quality, but many shots are relatively rare. And with the launch of NEX series, these lenses are actively promoted, which naturally involves the sensitive topic of price and the interests of some people. I really don't want to touch this in principle.
This era is an era of great changes in concepts, both photographic equipment and shooting style are undergoing such changes, and each concept has a large number of specific people. Maybe many years later, I will also face an era that does not belong to me. Just as Kodak was abandoned and Leica gradually became a luxury, photographic equipment is ultimately a tool, and all I see is the image itself. As for those tastes, my money is in charge.
The shortcomings of prejudice still need to be understood.
