But just today, when sorting out or looking through the photos taken intermittently by mobile phones or cameras in the past five years, all doubts have been answered at that moment.

When visiting Zhihu and looking for comments, I often find some answers, which say: the quality of a camera does not depend on its model or lens, but on the head behind it; The best camera, the most used camera, is actually the mobile phone in your pants pocket.

Every time I read this, there seems to be a voice in my head asking me again and again if I really want to buy a camera or not.

Today, I can confidently tell myself. Yes, I know.

I like the camera not because of its performance, nor because of what it can do for me. I like cameras, just like "cameras". I like the feeling the camera gives me, like the sound of the shutter, like the sound of focusing, like everything on the camera, nothing more than what model and brand. I like cameras, that's all, that's why I know that mobile phones can do many things, but the camera brings me feelings that mobile phones don't have. Although the use of mobile phones is certainly more convenient than cameras. But in a sense, the camera is irreplaceable to me.

I like taking photos, and I like taking all kinds of photos. I can't wait to film everything I see every day. I can also take many photos of the same thing from different angles, because the feeling of each photo and the memories carried by each photo are different. I think this may be why I need a tool to realize my needs. I am a lazy person, and I am too lazy to keep a diary or record what happens every day. Although I will regret it a little, because under the action of time, although my memory will be clear within 5 days, it is inevitable that my memory will become blurred when these 5 days become the first 50 days. How deep a memory is may change with time. What changes may be the clarity of the memory, or it may be the feeling that that memory brings you. Taking photos may be my way of keeping a diary for me. Looking through the photos taken, looking at the people above, looking at the scenery above, many memories will emerge, even as if they were repeated before our eyes. At the same time, I think photos are a way to record time, or a way to record people and things that have happened. Over time, people will change, things will change, and feelings will change, but photos will always be fixed at that moment that you think is worth recording, and will never change.
