Wu Ershan, Mongolian, 1972, from Hohhot, Inner Mongolia. Graduated from the Oil Painting Department of Central Academy of Fine Arts. Now he is a freelance artist, a well-known advertising director, and the first domestic newcomer film director of the Asian Star Gravitational Film Project. His advertising works have been selected in Archives, Times China Advertising and China Advertising Festival for many times. Works of art have been exhibited many times at home and abroad; Among them, the feature film Soap Opera won the International Film Critics Award at Busan International Film Festival in South Korea and the Best Director Award at Geneva Film Festival in Switzerland. His film debut "Knife Seeing Smile" has aroused strong response from domestic and foreign audiences and film critics. The new work "Painted Skin 2" reinterprets the ancient story of serial studio in a completely different way with rigorous narrative structure and magnificent visual effects.
