The design team from Roberto Murgia's studio in Italy transformed the basement of the office building designed by Italian architect Gio Ponti in 196 into a multifunctional space. The biggest challenge of this project is the lack of natural light and the need to ensure sound insulation. Therefore, Roberto Murgia solves the lighting problem with a "light wall" filled with wooden strips and roof lighting. The "light wall" is made of two layers of glass with one side transparent and the other side transparent, and the wooden strips filled inside play a role in filtering light. The cold light source is made up of the "light wall" and the roof, which are decorated with wooden walls to bring warm light to the whole space.

The architectural structure defines different functional areas. The wooden veneer is made of solid wood plates arranged at intervals, and the ground is made of white marble. The whole design pays great attention to the comfort of the environment, and the sound insulation and light control facilities are made on site according to the preset scene.

Space can be used for many functions, such as meetings, video conferences, cinemas and restaurants, and can also be used as an exhibition space for art collections of the firm. The interior decoration painting comes from the famous Korean artist Minjung Kim, the home adopts the Italian furniture brand MDF, and the tableware comes from the design made by the French design group Bouroullec brothers for the tableware brand Alessi.
