Where is Fuping Airport built?

Southeast of Liugu Town, Fuping County, Weinan City, Shaanxi Province.

According to Baidu Encyclopedia, Fuping General Airport is an important part of the domestic civil aircraft industry development base in Yanfu New District. With the consent of Shaanxi Provincial Government, Fuping General Airport is planned and built. Fuping General Airport is located in the southeast of Liugu Town, Fuping County, Weinan City, Shaanxi Province. After the completion of Fuping General Airport, it is mainly used for general aviation business such as aircraft research and development test flight, aircraft maintenance, flight training, business aviation, air freight, emergency, aviation service, aviation geophysical prospecting, aerial photography, agriculture and forestry operations. In the long run, depending on the domestic policy environment and airport development, it will gradually develop into a large-scale general airport integrating commuter transportation, business aviation and civil aircraft delivery and operation.

On April 1 1, 2020, Yanfu New District issued a tender announcement for the site selection and feasibility study stage of Fuping General Airport project. This tender project includes the preparation of Fuping General Airport site selection report, site selection stage flight program design report, site selection stage aircraft performance analysis report, feasibility study report, feasibility study stage flight program design report and feasibility study stage aircraft performance analysis report.
