You can try to dry it outside the window, or use a hair dryer, or add some borax, which is easier to shape.

Making method of crystal mud:

1. First, put sodium alginate into a vessel and soak it in warm water at about 50℃. The ratio is about per 10 g sodium alginate 1 kg water. After soaking for 24 hours, the sodium alginate in the basin will turn into a semi-dilute paste for use.

2. Secondly, prepare another container, put a proper amount of clean water, and add a certain proportion of calcium chloride (a little antiseptic can be added when preparing in summer). After calcium chloride is fully stirred and completely dissolved, different colors of pigments are added as needed, and one color is selected at a time to form colorful crystal soil.

3。 After the above work is completed, prepare a small container, preferably a small plastic bucket or washbasin, drill several rows of small holes with a diameter of about 5 mm at the bottom of the bucket, and then pour all the sodium alginate that has become paste into the bucket. At this time, the sodium alginate liquid will leak down the small hole at the bottom of the barrel, and all the beads leaked from the bottom of the barrel will fall into the water in the calcium chloride container. When all the leaks are finished, let them soak in the liquid. After soaking for a period of time, the small particles will solidify and dry themselves and become granular crystal beads. At this time, it can be completely removed from the calcium chloride solution, and washed repeatedly in clean water to completely wash away impurities and chemicals.
