Zheng Longhua: A famous hands-free photographer.
After 1 year-old fell into a hot kang and lost his hands, Zheng Longhua was no stranger to the tempering of life. He wrote with a pen between his wrists, and was rejected twice when he was admitted to the university. When he was in trouble, his classmates gave him an old camera. At the age of 22, he began to use his wrist to operate this "precision instrument" and take pictures of the villagers. Two years later, he won the first prize in Shanghai.
"Photography gave me confidence for the first time. I used to be introverted and closed myself because I knew I was different from others. " Zheng Longhua said, "When other photographers patted me on the shoulder and said,' Well shot, Lao Zheng', I think I can create good works of art like them."
He used the lens to record the successful disabled: Tan Chuanhua, who lost his right hand but founded the legend of "Tan Carpenter"; Wang Jiangmin, an anti-virus software expert who founded "Jiang Min Software" because of the inconvenience of his legs in childhood; Yuan Jianming, who is in a wheelchair to promote environmental protection in Qinting Town, Qingshui County, Gansu Province, is short of height 1 m due to congenital rickets ... Zheng Longhua wants to show a "sound" life for the disabled. "I hope these works are a mirror, through which everyone can see themselves: these disabled people can do things successfully under such circumstances, and everyone should work harder."
His photos of 65,438+000 successful disabled people and a conversation between a hands-free photographer and China 100 successful disabled people show the success stories of those disabled people who can't even walk upright without sound hands and feet.
Zheng Longhua, 49, said, "I choose to show their sunny side instead of paying attention to their limbs. Although shooting has more visual impact, I hope these works can bring people hope and encouragement. " He spent nearly three years on this set of photos.
The life experience of disabled people is different from others. Zheng Longhua thinks that the biggest difference is that "there are more difficulties than success, and everything needs a lot of efforts". What disabled people need most is spiritual encouragement. In his view, the most fatal blow to the disabled is "losing confidence". When Zheng Longhua worked hard, these photos encouraged many tourists.
