Zhanjiang Travel Guide

Zhanjiang is a relatively unpopular tourist city and a niche food destination

I stayed there for just two or three days and I was so full every day that the sugar water was so delicious that I couldn’t help but feel full!

I have compiled a list of more than a dozen small restaurants that I have eaten at (there are recommendations and lightning protection, you can refer to it~)

1 Xiyingmen Healthy Desserts: This sweet shop is also popular among locals. The most popular one is the black sesame paste, but I think it’s a bit sweet. The taro sago dew and coconut milk crystal pear paste are delicious! In particular, the pear paste is sweet and moist, and it basically costs a few yuan a bowl. There are so many varieties that you can’t finish them all

2 Zhang Liao Cake Shop: a small shop in a residential area of ??Zhanjiang The bakery has many locals queuing up to buy various pastries. Its Swiss rolls are huge and moist. You can dig them in with a spoon. 22 yuan per box. They melt in your mouth and have a strong egg flavor. Try to come early. If you go there, you might not be able to buy it

3 Masanjie Seafood Noodle Shop: This restaurant is really famous. I sat next to the well and ate noodles and ordered seafood noodles, Shuijingtou deep-fried dough sticks and beef porridge. The noodles looked like It's delicious, but actually tastes very average... The sandworms taste weird, and it's right next to it. It doesn't feel very hygienic... I got diarrhea not long after eating.

4 Cheng Kee, Wai Kee Bao Shop... : There are many traditional snack bars hidden in Haichang Community on Haidian Road. They serve taro cakes, water chestnut cakes, dustpan rice cakes, Yangjiang bean sprouts rolled noodles, natural barbecued meats, etc. Everything you order is delicious! There is also sugar water (remember to come on an empty stomach!)

5 Sweet Wild Snails: This is a bakery not far from Haichang Community. I passed by it to fill my stomach first. Everything can be stuffed with barbecued pork, and the barbecued pork soda buns are pretty good. !

6Awsome coffee: American retro style with contrasting colors. Many people sit outside to drink. They ordered a cup of lychee and rose cold brew special blend. The rose flavor is very prominent! Maybe I’ve been impressed by the prices in Beijing for a long time, but I feel like it’s really cheap for a special blend!

7ab Italian gelato ice cream: This dessert shop is hidden in the community. It’s a good place to take a break. The style of the shop and the gelato are very cute~ I went there in the fall and had the roasted sweet potato ice cream!

8 One Tea and One Point: It is a very traditional refreshment shop. Many people in the local area eat it. The flavor of the gelatin powder sauce is very strong! Shrimp Dumpling King or anything else is also available! The taste is pretty good

9 Golden Little Horns: A small snack spot next to the mall. I was attracted by the small horns when I passed by. The barbecued pork crisps and pineapple crisps both have crispy skins! Although it is small, it tastes delicious and is a bit expensive. I regret not buying more to take away

Coffee Courtyard: A community coffee shop in the old town. The shop is quite cozy and offers apple cinnamon latte. The prints on the mugs are so cute for hot drinks in autumn and winter~
