The Historical Background of Bailingou Ancient Town

Berlin ditch is located at the crossroads of Gushu Road. After the Han Dynasty, the eastern section of Shu Dao was empty, so the Berlin Post Station on Shu Dao South Road was fortified, and Shu Dao was used to connect other cities. There is the danger of Jiulong Mountain in the east, towering Deng Yan in the south, the barrier of Jianmen and Niutou Mountain in the west, and Meiling Pass in the north. However, due to the diversion of the main road into Sichuan, Berlin ditch has become a secluded place unknown to outsiders. However, "a blessing in disguise is a blessing in disguise". The ancient style of Berlin ditch is particularly well preserved so far, and the ancient houses are well preserved, which can be called "specimens" of the remaining houses in northern Sichuan. There are more than 500 meters of ancient stone street, and the ancient buildings with beams on both sides of the street are still there, and the customs of Shu Road are still there. There is a three-story platform "Kuixing Pavilion" (also known as Bell and Drum Tower and God of Wealth Building) on the street, with a height of15m. On the upper floor is the Kuixing Tower, in the middle is the theater, and on the bottom is the stone street that passes through the building. In the old society, troupes invited from afar sang in the street, and people from all over the country crowded into the street to look forward to hearing the news. What a prosperous scene. Seeing things and thinking about feelings, the high-pitched Shaanxi tune, the loud sound of gongs and drums, and the laughter of the whole city seem to be in your ear.
