Refracting type is an entry-level mirror for beginners and a mirror for deep space photography. Features: Easy to use, sharp imaging, shortcomings: high manufacturing cost. The color difference is generally controlled within 100MM. For around 1500, you can buy Celestron's 90EQ. The effective magnification is about 180X, but for general weather conditions, it is recommended to go up to 150X. Reflective type, which is generally a second mirror for enthusiasts, is an intermediate-level mirror. It has a large diameter and is affordable. The disadvantage of chromatic aberration is not conducive to earth observation. The focal length is too small and the image is not sharp enough. As for the 1500, you can buy a 130MM bull mirror that can magnify up to 260X (only weather permitting). If you want to see Jupiter, if the weather is good, you can see the Great Red Spot, but it is not recommended. Beginners have problems with the dimming axis, which is more complicated and difficult to maintain.

Finally, the refractive type is generally less used by beginners. It is the lightest weight and the smallest volume with the same caliber, and the imaging is between refraction and bovine reflection

Disadvantages: It’s expensive at around 1500 and you can only buy a 90MM return without an equatorial mount (also not recommended for beginners)
