Three Kingdoms Film and Television City, also known as Wuxi Film and Television Base. Located at No. 128, Shanshui West Road, Binhu District, Wuxi City, Jiangsu Province. It is located on the south bank of Taihu Lake, with Taihu Lake in the north and the foothills of Junzhang Mountain in the south. It has beautiful mountains and clear waters and pleasant scenery.

It was built in 1987 and covers an area of ??35 hectares. It is one of the first batch of 5A-level tourist attractions in the country and is also China's first large-scale film and television shooting and tourism base.

It is said that in the "Romance of the Three Kingdoms" filmed by CCTV in 1994: "Liu Bei recruits a bride", "burns the red cliff", "composes a poem on a horizontal tree", "borrows arrows from a straw boat", "borrows the east wind", The key scenes of more than ten episodes, including "Zhuge Diaoxiao" and "Confucian Confucianism", were all filmed here. Later, countless costume dramas of different types were also filmed here.

We came here because of its reputation, parked the car in the parking lot, bought the tickets, and waited in line to get in. The first thing that catches your eye is that the external environment here is extremely beautiful, with green mountains, cherry blossoms in full bloom, tall bamboo forests reaching straight into the sky, and the rippling blue waves of Taihu Lake to the north. It is no exaggeration to say that it is a paradise with mountains and waters. .

After we entered the door, on the high platform on the right, we saw three groups of military horse statues, one group was the Wu army, one group was the Wei army, and one group was the Shu army. The Wu army is Sun Quan's army, the Wei army is Cao Cao's army, and the Shu army is Liu Bei's army. In one group, there are warriors holding whips, standing on the chariot, driving four horses pulling the chariot. The horses seem to be running, roaring and neighing. There are also warriors wearing armor on horses, and some are under horses, as if preparing for battle. It is estimated that the person riding the chariot must be the military commander.

We walked forward for a while and heard that there would be a live demonstration of "Liu Bei's Recruitment" in the morning and a live demonstration of "Three Heroes Fighting Lu Bu" in the afternoon. So we went straight to the "Liu Bei Recruitment" venue, where we turned out to be performing in a replica of King Wu's palace. This imitation of Wu Palace was built against the mountain. The blue bricks and tiles, flying eaves and owl beasts, painted beams and carved buildings are magnificent. Looking from below, it gives people a sense of imposingness.

Looking back at his palace gate, there is a huge word "Double Happiness", which was used to demonstrate Liu Bei's marriage.

After waiting for a while, the golden drums and trumpets sounded, and a demonstration of Liu Bei's marriage began. Among the characters in the story, Wu Wang Sun Quan, Wu Guotai, Liu Bei, and Sun Shangxiang all appeared on stage, escorted by officials and armored warriors. There are also the beautiful palace maids, Gong'e, all decorated in Chinese style, extremely gorgeous, and they look like fairies descending to earth when they dance.

After the demonstration, we walked through the west gate and focused on looking at some replica buildings related to the plot in the Romance of the Three Kingdoms. The main one is Ganlu Temple, which is shaded by trees and surrounded by flowers and plants.

The most eye-catching trees here are the cherry blossom forest and the green bamboo forest. The cherry blossoms are in full bloom and pink, and the bamboos are knotted and green.

If you are tired of walking around the film and television city, you can go out to the west gate. There are snacks and restaurants on the shore of Taihu Lake. There are tables and stools where you can rest or have a meal while watching the beautiful scenery of Taihu Lake.

There is a photography venue for "borrowing arrows from a straw boat" and a modeling venue for "burning red cliffs".

In the location, there is a pool of water with countless miniature warships on the water, which are very exquisite. It is divided into two camps: the north and the south. The north is obviously Wei Jun Cao Cao's camp, and the south is definitely Sun Quan's camp. The base staff also demonstrated to us on the spot the scene of burning a warship.

People have to admire modern high technology after seeing it. It can really reach the point where the fake is the real thing, which is breathtaking.

After watching the demonstration, we went out of the west gate to the shore of Taihu Lake. The view from here was endless, the color of the water was blurry, and the line between the sky and the water looked like clouds and smoke rising from the water. There is an antique Soochow ship built on the shore. The war flag is flying on the ship and it is parked on the lake. This prop is also very realistic.

He gives people unlimited reverie. You can imagine how the handsome Soochow coach Zhou Lang mobilized thousands of troops and what kind of talent and strategy he had to burn down the Red Cliff warships. In the First World War, Cao Cao, who had an army of 800,000, dared not face Jiangnan. This is really a vicissitude of history, things have changed, people have changed, the old fortress is still there, and the waves of the Yangtze River have swept away all the famous people of the ages.

The Red Cliff Trestle Bridge has been renovated here. Standing on the bridge, your horizons will be broadened, which is conducive to photography.

Walk across the trestle and follow the shore of Taihu Lake to the north and right. On the left side of Wu Palace, along the road, there are replicas of "Yifeng Pavilion", "Ganlu Temple", "Zhuge Liang Nanyang Thatched Cottage" and so on.

This thatched cottage can be mistaken for the real thing. It is built against the mountain. There are green bamboos behind the mountain. In front of the door, there are rows of stones representing Yin and Yang. On the right side, there are orchids and green stems of Zhuge Cai. How tall and very lush. The thatched hut has three rooms, an open corridor in front, and the roof is covered with thatch. In the thatched cottage, there is a statue of Zhuge Liang sitting in the cottage with a calm expression and playing the piano with both hands. There are bookshelves, bamboos, and swords on the wall beside him, which is really lifelike. It's amazing how imaginative the designers are.

Continuing to walk forward, there is an arrow pavilion gate with the word "Taoyuan" written on it. This is the place where the story of the three brothers Liu, Guan and Zhang's friendship in Taoyuan was filmed. As soon as I entered the door, I saw the peach blossoms in full bloom. In front of the peach blossoms stood three bronze statues of Liu, Guan, and Zhang holding fists and sworn brothers. The peach blossoms are beautiful, but they are all fake flowers. It is true that peach trees are planted all over this small courtyard.

It’s almost noon, find a place, replenish some energy and take a rest.

In the afternoon, we walked south and soon arrived at the venue for the demonstration of "Three Heroes Fighting Lu Bu". The venue is a racecourse and the texture is sand. After the seats were full, the staff announced that the show would start. Suddenly there was a loud beating of drums and the sound of war horses neighing. The eighteen princes under Hulao Pass appeared one after another and fought with Lu Bu. After losing several battles in a row, Zhang Fei, Guan Yu, and Liu Bei came out to fight against Lu Bu. Finally, Lu Bu was defeated and returned to the pass to call a curtain call.

The on-site performers have superb equestrian skills and can leap and gallop on the field, which is amazing! Ordinary people cannot ride to this level. It can recreate the scene of the two armies clashing and fighting each other in ancient battles in the past. It is said that these horses were used in the filming of the TV series "Romance of the Three Kingdoms" and the people were in the equestrian team, so they had such acting skills. It's so beautiful when people see it.
