In the freshman semester, influenced by his seniors, he began to draw with ballpoint pens and insisted on drawing every Monday. He has been writing for four years.

When I was in college, with the help of my seniors, I began to formally learn ballpoint pen painting. " Qu Xianliang said that he has less hobbies, so he has more free time. He usually likes to soak a cup of honey water alone at night and draw quietly in the corner.

"The inspiration for ballpoint pen painting mainly comes from daily life, such as movies, cute pets, characters in games and so on." Qu Xianliang said that his favorite is a work called Red Rose. Every line is clearly visible and looks particularly delicate, symbolizing his college life. In order to ensure the integrity of this work, it took him nearly a week to finish it.

Qu Xianliang introduced that ballpoint pen hand-drawing does not need too many pens, and any pen can be used for creation. Besides having a certain painting foundation, the most important thing is patience; The difficulty of ballpoint pen painting mainly lies in its indelible nature. Unlike sketching, it needs a stroke in place. If a small detail goes wrong, the whole painting will be ruined. Therefore, ballpoint pen painting requires higher modeling.
