Why take pictures?

In order to take pictures of my own paintings and record instantaneous scenes, I have no time to draw and bring painting tools, especially portraits. I want to draw characters and have no time to be a model, so I have to do it simply and quickly. But to tell the truth, photography can't be compared with painting, because the camera will never be more sensitive than the eyes. If I want to fully express the feelings of the object, I can only draw, but the speed is not as fast as the camera, so I have a camera.
