This is Hong Tao's latest film. I like Hong Tao. He has made some very good movies over the years. Unfortunately, this is his worst film. If you just watch it for entertainment, stay at home and watch TV. Yellow river fisherman is too long and really boring. It does have some good roles. I find the fisherman's wife very interesting.
