How to make vegetable crops spend the winter better?

Vegetable roots have three functions:

One is absorption. It can absorb water and nutrition. Absorb water to meet the needs of leaf transpiration and fruit. Absorb nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium and trace elements to meet various physiological needs of vegetables and plants.

The second is support. Play a pillar role, so that vegetables and plants can stand in the soil, so that the stems, leaves and fruits above can be attached.

The third is synthesis. Roots synthesize many endogenous hormones to meet the physiological needs of vegetable growth.

So, how can we maintain the roots of vegetable plants and make them grow healthily?

1, strengthen the maintenance of vegetable leaves.

Roots are raised by leaves, and leaves grow by roots. The roots and leaves of vegetables are interdependent, interdependent, mutually promoting and indispensable. At a certain temperature during the day, the leaves of vegetable plants use sunlight as the power to make nutrients, and some of these nutrients are transported down to the roots, so that the roots can grow and develop. Nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium and other nutrients applied underground can not support the root system, but can only be absorbed and utilized by the root system, and then transported to stems, leaves and fruits through the transportation organization of vegetables and plants, or transformed again in photosynthesis. Therefore, it can be said that the fertilizer applied underground can not directly support the roots, but the photosynthetic products produced by leaf photosynthesis, and the growth of roots promotes the absorption of the above mineral nutrients.

Vegetable farmers in some places often blindly destroy the lower leaves of vegetable plants, or even destroy more leaves at one time to save trouble, which has a great influence on the normal growth and fruit of vegetables. For example, tomato plants do not leave leaves on the top and bottom of the first ear fruit, which leads to the slow expansion of the first ear fruit, and some of them are not long, which also leads to the difficulty of root growth. Even if fertilization is applied, most of it will not be absorbed and utilized by the roots. Some vegetable farmers leave enough fruit for tomatoes and polish the leaves around the top ear directly, which makes it difficult for this ear to grow, and places with strong light will get sunburned. Cucumber needs 16-20 good functional leaves to ensure the normal growth and high and stable yield of the plant. However, some vegetable farmers blindly destroy the lower leaves, and some beat the leaves too hard, which leads to plant weakness and yield decline. Therefore, it is very harmful to flap the leaves blindly for no reason, especially the leaves under the plants. These leaves are the source of organic nutrients, which are specially used for storing these nutrients for root system utilization. In this regard, it is necessary to focus on protecting the lower blades and lightly beating the blades, not too much at a time.

At the same time, it is necessary to strengthen pruning management, ensure reasonable plant type and improve leaf illumination; Improve plant resistance, prevent pests and diseases, and ensure leaf health and normal photosynthesis; Rational spraying of Yongchun carbon-based nutrient biological water-soluble fertilizer can enhance the activity of enzymes in leaves and improve photosynthetic efficiency.

2. Create favorable conditions for root growth.

First of all, the soil should be fertile and well ventilated. With little organic fertilizer, relying on various fertilizers to grow vegetables will worsen the physical and chemical properties of the soil, make the roots difficult to stretch, and have poor ventilation, especially in winter, which often leads to root retting and root rot.

Therefore, soil fertilization is a key link in vegetable production. Pay attention to the following three aspects in fertilization.

First, carbon-based fertilizers should be reapplied. It is an important means to increase soil organic matter, improve soil structure, improve soil aggregate structure and improve soil permeability. Secondly, pay attention to scientific formula fertilization. For new vegetable fields and vegetable fields with poor soil fertility, various nutrient elements, especially medium and trace elements, must be supplemented in advance according to the fertilizer demand of different crops to avoid the symptoms of fertilizer loss. Yongchun carbon-based nutritional microbial fertilizer with 200 million /g effective living bacteria, 60% organic matter, 3% fulvic acid, N+P2N5+K2O6% and 28% active extract can be selected, and 500 million /g effective living bacteria, 40% organic matter, 3% fulvic acid and n+P2N5+K2O8 can be applied in combination.

A large number of experiments have proved that biological bacterial fertilizer can obviously improve soil structure, improve soil fertility and promote the growth and development of vegetable roots. Therefore, supplementing biological bacterial fertilizer is an important measure to enhance soil fertility and promote root growth. It can not only obviously improve the soil aggregate structure and physical and chemical properties, but also inhibit the occurrence of vegetable root diseases (especially for various soil-borne diseases), and the effect of increasing production and income is very obvious.

In addition, chitin, alginate and humic acid water-soluble fertilizers should be used for washing, and Yongchun carbon-based nutrient biological water-soluble fertilizer (carbon-based fertilizer developed by Liu Cunshou) can be used. The carbon-based nutrient water-soluble fertilizer extracted from Dioscorea zingiberensis as the main raw material can activate soil, increase soil organic matter, improve soil aggregate structure, activate nutrients and promote absorption.

Second, the ground temperature should be appropriate. Ground temperature will obviously affect the growth and development of root system. Low temperature roots are not long, which often leads to rotten roots. If the ground temperature of vegetables drops too much because of the cold current, the new leaves will often turn purple, which is a manifestation of phosphorus deficiency, but the fundamental reason is that the ground temperature is too low. If this happens, it is suggested to increase the ground temperature as soon as possible. At the same time, Yongchun carbon-based nutrient biological water-soluble fertilizer should be sprayed on the leaves to promote nutrient transformation and absorption.
