What is the lens of a microscope made of?

The lenses of a microscope (usually the objective lens and eyepiece, but I think the condenser is also counted) are all composite lenses composed of different lenses. The material of these lenses is generally glass, but for some special objective lenses, some special materials may be plated on the glass surface.
