What does crew dit do?

Digital imaging engineer.

DIT(digitalimagingtechnician), full name of digital imaging engineer. DIT's work is also divided into before shooting, during shooting and after shooting. The early stage is mainly knowledge training and understanding of software and hardware. Knowledge training is mainly reflected in the operation of data personnel, because in all data management, the most uncontrollable factor is people, and there are three kinds of people who can influence data, one is photography group and recording group.

They are responsible for generating materials, one is the DIT group, they are responsible for managing materials, and the other is the on-site management power group. These three types deal with the loss of camera or memory card, the hard disk being smashed or accidentally stuck when data is copied, or the sudden power failure at the scene directly affects the first two groups. This requires DIT to put forward the most separate requirements for other quantities. For example, the record group of the photography group can't let them check the cards, but only give them to the only person in the DIT group who is qualified to check the cards (this person is also responsible for writing the card check form) to avoid the wrong card when copying the cards separately.
