Why does the old father's photo change color?

The fading of photos is mainly caused by the following two reasons, which have nothing to do with whether the photo paper is smooth/suede.

One reason: cutting corners during printing will lead to poor color stability and easy fading.

Reason 2: Don't cut corners when printing. The storage environment of photos is the main reason for the fading of photos, such as direct sunlight (ultraviolet rays and ozone) and humidity.

There are two ways to save digital photos:

(1) You can take the developed digital photos to the photo studio. Now there are two ways to keep your digital photos for a long time. One is cold installation and the other is hot installation. The equipment and articles used in these two ways are different, but the mechanism is to stick a transparent thin polymer protective film on the photo, which is a little cheaper for cold mounting and can ensure that your photo will not fade for 20 years. Thermal mounting is a little more expensive, which can ensure that your photos will not fade for 50 years. After cold mounting or hot mounting, the photos can be waterproof and not easy to absorb stolen goods. If there is dust after a long time, you can gently wipe it off with a wet towel.

(2) If you want to keep precious photos for a longer period of time, you'd better keep the electronic files of digital photos or the higher traditional photos in scan resolution. As long as the life of the storage medium is long enough, this method can ensure that your photos will not fade for hundreds or even thousands of years.
