Application skills of lines in shooting structure
The influence of lines on the picture in composition can not be ignored
Let me give you a simple example:
scenic
This is a good picture of the scenery. I like this photo very much, but I also found another photo with a different style.
The photos are more stereoscopic.
Will the photo above look more three-dimensional? This is the sense of depth created by the use of lines in composition. Convergence lines intersect at infinity, and parallel lines that should be equal in length gradually become shorter and shorter visually. These lines create a sense of distance and space. I marked these lines so that we can see what it does:
Of course, not every landscape has such obvious lines. The example just given is as classic as a textbook. When shooting, composition needs our imagination and creativity.
In the landscape photo below, the two triangles in the foreground point to the distant sunset and the rocks protruding from the sea.
Two triangles point far away.
▲ The pointing line here is a hidden line, which does not really exist, but its direction is determined by the shape of the foreground below the screen.
Look at this photo from another angle.
Looking at this photo from different angles, we can also draw different conclusions. By cutting the original image, we will get photos with different aspect ratios and prominent horizontal lines. The special aspect ratio and the distant horizontal line create a stable sense of balance:
The most important and obvious line is the horizontal line.
▲ The most important and obvious line is the horizontal line, and the wavy line balanced with the horizontal line also makes the picture more dynamic.
A stable horizontal line can bring peace and tranquility.
So we can draw the conclusion that:
A stable horizontal line can bring peace and tranquility;
Slant lines can bring excitement and vitality;
In landscape photography, a wide-angle lens will make the boundary between foreground and infinity more obvious.
Use lines outside the scene
Lines play an important role in landscape photography, but for other photography categories, we also need eyes to dig lines.
Have an eye for digging lines.
The invisible line represents a state of affairs.
The line is straight or curved, even tangible and intangible, and the invisible line represents a state of affairs. The above picture is a diagonal composition, which brings vitality to the picture.
A photograph composed of vertical lines.
A photo of vertical composition, with vertical red paper echoing the lines of the wooden wall next to it. There is also a red rope passing through the picture, breaking the layout of the vertical line. Vertical composition is not as active and stable as diagonal composition.
Lines in a portrait
What is the function of lines in portrait works? The following photo uses arm lines to focus the audience's attention on this person's face:
