Tidal flats usually refer to shallow beaches.

There are few beaches like Xiapu in Ningde, Fujian, China, and most of them have reefs. Xiapu has the largest beach in China, where fishermen bask in kelp, forming a special landscape and human landscape.

Xiapu Beach can be photographed all year round, with different flavors and different shooting contents.

In spring, the weather is unstable, the air is opaque, and it is especially foggy. You can take ink painting, remove laver, fish crab seedlings at sea, and fish villages at sea.

In summer, after a thunderstorm or before and after a typhoon, the air is particularly transparent. Before the typhoon came, Jin Lang, which was several meters or even ten meters high, could be photographed, splashing on the shore. You can shoot Xiaohao Beach, Jiang Sha drying kelp, sunset beach at Gangwei in Sansha Town, sunrise at Zheliyu in Xin 'an Town, oyster culture and so on.

Summer is the easiest time to produce scenery films, but it is also a season with high risk of rain, depending on luck.

In autumn, the sky is clear and the weather is stable. Xiapu is the hometown of laver in China. During this period, 10,000 mu of seaweed cultivation fields have been built along the coast, and ships are shuttling on the sea, and the beach is full of sea poles and shadows. In autumn, you can shoot Songgang Beibei, Sansha Xiaohao, Sansha Gangwei Beach to dry the net, Sansha Ancient Town laver field and Dayu Mountain Island.

Winter is warm and sunny with soft light. This is a good time to shoot the sunrise and sunset at sea. You can shoot the sunrise at sea in Zhu Hua, Sansha Town and He Miaomiao, Xin 'an Town. Harvesting seaweed along the coast, Lianjiachuan folk landscape in Yantian, and ancient banyan trees in Hongfeng Forest in Yangjiaxi, a cliff town.

The key is that it is better to go around the first or fifteenth day of the lunar calendar. The tides are greatly influenced by the moon at this time.

Almost all those beautiful photos use telephoto lenses to select a small local area, which is very different from what we see with the naked eye. And it is very important to see the scenery, that is, to go out early and return late to watch the sunrise and sunset.

Watch the weather before you go. The weather is extremely important in the whole process. The weather in Xiapu is bad, so I want to cry. If I want to sort the weather from good to bad, I will arrange it like this: sunny > cloudy > shower > cloudy > rainstorm. For the last two kinds of weather, I might as well sleep in a hotel.

If the weather is bad, eat as much seafood as possible. Xiapu eats the sea at the seaside, and heals the trauma of the soul with delicious seafood.

4. Prepare some food in advance so that you won't be hungry in the morning. After all, going out at three o'clock in the morning and filming at eight o'clock are very tired.

5. In the peak season of Xiapu, or holidays, please get up early, for example, at 2: 30, and arrive at the shooting location early to be seated.

6. Ask a local photographer to be a guide, and the guide will provide one-stop service for Xiapu landscape photography creation. For foreigners, the most important thing in Xiapu shooting is the tidal law. If you don't want to bother to study tides and trips, please find a guide.
