What happened to Zhang Xuecheng?

Zhang Xuecheng was killed in the Battle of Gaoshanzi.

From 65438 to 0986, Zhang Xuecheng's younger brother Zhang Xuewen returned to his hometown from Brazil and told this little-known story to Zhao Jie and others accompanying him. After the family meeting, Zhang Xueliang gave Huang Xiansheng an order to destroy Zhang Xuecheng and his puppet troops. After receiving the order, Huang Xiansheng immediately sent a telegram to Xiong Fei and Mi Chunlin in Jinzhou.

Xiong and Misui concentrated the public security cavalry and went to Gaoshanzi for encirclement and suppression in mid-June165438+1October. Those "bullets" cavalry units no longer have any scruples. During World War I, a group of Japanese and puppet officials, including Zhang Xuecheng and Japanese consultants, were killed, and many of them were captured alive.

The place of death is not far from where his father Zhang died. Zhang Xuecheng wiped out the puppet troops, which aroused the anti-Japanese fighting spirit of the anti-Japanese volunteers in western Liaoning, and the Japanese army temporarily gave up its plan to attack western Liaoning.

Lost in seclusion:

193 1 May, Wang Jingwei set up another national government in Guangzhou and appointed Shi Yousan as the commander-in-chief of the Fifth Army. In June, Shi Yousan telegraphed Zhang Xuecheng and asked him to go to Dalian to contact the Japanese Kwantung Army in order to get help from the Japanese. In July, citing Zhang Xueliang's insufficient military expenditure, he sent a petition for electricity, and joined forces with Sun Dianying and other departments to attack the Northeast Army. ZhangXueCheng also begged Zhang Dajun to persuade Shi Yousan here.

On July 24th, the Nanjing government ordered Shi Yousan to be removed from his post and sent Herry Liu and Hu Zongnan to make a crusade. The Northeast Army was attacked by Yu Xuezhong and Wang Shuchang. Shi Yousan was attacked from both sides and ended in failure. Zhang Xuecheng fled to the Japanese Concession in Tianjin to live in seclusion.
