It is a luxury to change an SUV into a sleeping car and have a comfortable sleeping position and sitting position. Activities in the car can only move in abnormal positions. How can there be comfort and extra space?

Perhaps it is in the inland environment and short trips, the weather is sunny, and most of the time it is outdoors, so the space disadvantage of small cars is not very prominent. However, in case of severe weather such as wind and rain, especially in remote, plateau, cold and rainy areas, the sense of embarrassment caused by the cramped space inside the car will be immediately highlighted.

I am deeply touched by this-before I bought Yufeng Light Rail, I had an old Qi Jun. I just bought it for about two years, and I am very satisfied with the handling, performance and fuel consumption. Before changing trains (from early September 2020 to1early October, 1 1), I drove it through two provinces and regions1. In order to make the journey more comfortable, I specially spent nearly 10,000 yuan to buy a sand boat tent in Ye Qiu and install it on the roof.

Continue to enter the desert Gobi to the west, and there are more and more scenes that can only live in the car. For a long time, the roof tent has gradually become a decoration. After entering Qinghai and Xinjiang, I have a real understanding of the so-called "eyes in heaven, body in hell". Although the scenery has become strange and beautiful, the feeling of the body is getting worse and worse.

Although it was only around the Mid-Autumn Festival, the harsh climate of the plateau desert had begun to show its ferocity. The temperature is more than 20 degrees during the day, and the huge temperature difference at night is close to zero or even frozen. It's really torture! Not only the temperature difference is large, but also the desert Gobi climate often blows strong winds or even strong winds without warning!

Cold and strong winds force you into the car, which can make do in a short time in a narrow space, but it will be unbearable for a long time! Not to mention cooking, washing, getting up at night and so on. And often huddle in the car and cringe until we have to get up and go outside. In this environment, every day on the trip, I can't help but flash the idea of changing cars. It is even more enviable to meet an RV with the door closed and the light on during the night.

It was my bad personal experience that prompted me to forget the loss caused by changing cars after returning to China. I quickly went to 4S to inspect the test drive and then put it into action to start refitting. I suggest that riders learn my lesson and think carefully before buying a car or modifying it, so as to avoid spending a lot of money on buying a car and being a chicken rib, and it is too late to give up regret.

Cyclists should be clear about two concepts: short-distance travel and long-term residence. Although they are both trips, they are very different. The dependence of short-distance travel on cars is basically limited to transportation. The highest state is nothing more than a "car as a bed", a temporary sleep. Besides traveling instead of walking for a long time, your car should also take care of eating, drinking and sleeping. In essence, it is a kind of "car as home"-mobile home!

A bed is enough. If the living space at home is too narrow, it is impossible to configure basic living facilities. Not only did I not feel at home, but I didn't feel comfortable at all, which was almost equivalent to wandering! One thing that has always puzzled people is why the price of non-operating family cars is much more expensive than that of medium and large operating vehicles. Luxury cars, special vehicles, etc. need special research and development because of expensive materials, and the output is low, so it is understandable that the price is high. Compared with medium-sized and large-sized cars, ordinary family cars produced in large quantities seem to have little difference in terms of materials, design difficulty and technical content.

Take light passengers (formerly urban transport vans) as an example. Light passengers have lower engine technology than ordinary SUVs or cars. Or is the material used poor? It's much bigger, so why is the price roughly equal to or even lower than that of a small car? On second thought, I think it may be that the pricing mechanism and tax ratio are different.

I just want to emphasize that I can buy a large space light bus that is more suitable for living and living at the same price as an SUV and less than a commercial car. The biased cognition that drives Ruifeng business has far-reaching influence. Until I decided to buy a light passenger, I still had doubts and misjudgments about its handling. First of all, aim at the new Transit with slightly smaller size and similar appearance to commercial vehicles-because the smaller the car, the better it is to drive. Suppose you are a photographer, you might as well build a roof platform much larger than an SUV.
